You'll either learn and improve or remain stuck in your ways, nothing I say will change that and I'm not gonna try.

Ladies and gents and there you have it...
The argument for not using good positioning.
Well I'm sold by the intelligent reasoning.
Are you trying to sell us the camping playstyle?

I usually just stand around with my thumb up my...... and watch as the pathetic pugs scramble to run away from a enemy... then i kill said enemy making the new spawn pop up in thier face so that they die.... makes for hilarious gameplay.

Hmmm good point. Your Headknowledge has much tenacity. Camping tactics FTWWould make for some nice games though right?
I didn't say hiding. I said covering a spawn or an obvious approach from a spawn.
Which is infinitely better than running forward blindly and forcing spawns away and thus forcing teammates to either shoot at nothing (to suppress the spawn) or risk enemies spawning behind other unprepared teammates.
FB white is classic example, with people running down the stairs (forcing a spawn behind) the guys on the balcony thingy).
FB Hydra with people at the furthest lowest spawns (which are easily covered from above) and again forcing a spawn behind.
FB glacier is the same even though everybody runs around like idiots there.
FB giant can easily be held on gold either at the LZ side or opposite side. FB Rio would be as easy as the box of shame with ranged fighters back at the LZ side spawns and a jugg at the middle.
All the maps can be made rather easy with a good placement of the team (excluding objectives).
...
I wouldn't mind the run and gun so much if people used the voice to say... "I want to try to run the spawns... lets go left" or "you guys go right" or something like that, but they never do... So they run in 2 or maybe even 3 directions.
PS: It just leads to so damn many unnecessary player downings. From surprise spawns and the attempts to save people who went down in the absolutely worst place of the map.
PPS: A funny observation. Newbies aren't the worst at this, but usually they're quite apprehensive of running away from the team. It's usually the supposedly more experienced players.
PPPS: And yes... I do stupid crap in games that get me or other people killed too all the time, so far from perfect.

Where do I stand? I stand... on the highest ground spawn point to prevent stuff from spawning there.
And if the rest of the team wants to be somewhere else, forcing spawns on my position, well...
Then I don't have to run very far to find my next targets, I guess.

A little, but I strongly believe in everyones right to be as stupid as they want to (or you know... the maximum they can be).
I just dont have to like it, or hide my oppinion, due to sensitivities.

It comes from sniping. Having to turn the mouse more than a few degrees is a dip in damage. Making an obvious killzone where I and maybe a team mate, have to aim very little, can continue shooting and can damage 2-3-4 enemies with each shot, while taking very little damage is glorious.

Camping IS probably the easiest and most successful strategy in PUGs (using a loose definition of camping, where the area being camped is like 1/3 of the map).

Well what I mean is staying put when it's advantageous and moving when that's advantageous. Not staying put at all cost and offcouse when choosing to stay put, to choose a good spot.

And make the game even more monotonous than it already is? No thanks.
