Nothing is impossible. If Kirk can, so can you!

Just babies...but who the heck wants those anyways?
Samara: My justicar code forbids me from having children, but I will put that aside in order to save you. Join with me tonight and we will produce a child. When the Reaper dies, its soul will go into the child and..
Shepard: Wait, you want to put the soul of a REAPER into a CHILD. Why the hell would we do that when I have a bunch of completely disposable NPCs to die instead?
Samara: Now that I think about it, that's a bizzare idea. Forget I mentioned it.

And I get the feeling it's not Garrus. Thane was made so that femsheps would have an alien to romance so like, unless Garrus is a human in disguise...

Can we assume there are only 3 options per gender?
Casey Hudson specifically said three options per gender.
And THREE shall be the number of love interests per gender. Not one, not five, not two unless it be directly proceeding to THREE.![]()
Why the hell is that so familiar? I can't put my finger on it. Reveal your source!
and to be a little bit on topic as well, my guess is Garrus. He's worthy because he apparently has a fan club. The only thing I can think of that would make him less probable is that if Tali is also a LI then maybe Bioware thinks that 4 out of 6 of the original squad members is enough. But what do I know? I hope it's Garrus.
I'm counting the love interests....
one, two..... FIVE! Oh it's three? THREE!
back on topic.... I want it to be Garrus but I feel like it's gonna be Samara.
But... what if it was LEGION?!?! I mean, he is supposedly obssessed with you.

Who do I think it is? I am not sure... Who do I hope it is? Garrus. It would be incredible BIZARRE if BioWare gave FemShep an LI that was *not* a squadmate.
What if Joker is the Kelly Chambers equivalent? Then it wouldn't be weird at all.

Joker's not out of the picture. Remember when they were showing 12 minute gameplay on Gamespot, the guy asked the dev about Joker "Bones are as brittle as ever I assume".

Hi, it's my mission to quote everything you say today, evidently.
ANYWAY. Yes! While the thought of Joker as an LI is interesting, they've made it clear that the only core LIs are squad mates from the past or present. That said, Joker could very well be the female scratching post if anyone wants to get flirty with someone not on their team. In fact, I'd like that. A lot.

Very true...but then again it would most likely constitute as a "fling," as opposed to a real romance, leavingg one slot still open.

Did they specify squadmates? All I've heard was that there are new LIs from Mass Effect who were not romanceable in the first game. No details regarding if they were squadmates or not.

That would be more than fine and welcome. However, since Kelly Chambers is *not* an official LI (as confirmed via the Casey Hudson Best Buy chat), then that would mean a Joker equivalent would not be an official LI either. They'd be 'flings'/pseudo-romances. And thus, still leaves open the third slot.

That doesn't mean a specific asari wouldn't limit herself. It actually makes logical sense for an asari to be sexually attracted primarily to are solely to either another asari or a female human due to the obvious nature of asari.
That sounds more like wishful thinking to me. If the Asari are known to prefer "mating" (and I use that word loosely) with others species rather than their own, how does that make "logical sense?"
Is it possible? Sure, but not likely from what we know about their culture.. It would be as Spaghetti Ninja mentioned, a plot hole.

Well, besides the Consort in the first game, were you able to romance anyone outside of your squad? Not that I recall. And the confirmed romances for ME2? All in the squad, save for Ash, Kai, and Liara - who were in your squad in the first game. Romancing someone outside of your squad just doesn't strike me as fulfilling in the least. There's a chance we'll be able to flirt with, say, Joker and Kelly, perhaps something will come to fruition, but I doubt it'll be a full-fledged romance.

He said 'teammates'. It depends on how you see that if it includes only people who fight with you or not.

Point. It'll probably be Garrus, then. He's the only one left.
