I just don't see the point in having her make a cameo. I mean, it's not like she's the only one in Origins that has problems. If we had a quest for everyone who did, we'd have one longass game.

I think it would more be the idea that the NPC for a particular sidequest turned out to be her, not so much that the quest would be about her. They wouldn't necessarily need to create a whole new quest so much as put her in fairly generic role.

That actually would be sort of amazing.

That little orphan always made me a bit sad to see her when I made the connection, in a touching way.

It was another one of those cool moments in origins where you realize there are all these little stories that tie together from your origin.

^ Sera is the supposed elvan assassin that could be joining the Inquisitor as a companion. She was briefly shown in the PAX demo in the party.

I would love to see her in DAI, it would make for an interesting NPC for BioWare to expand on.

If we do see her again, I hope it's just a brief cameo in a "Thedas' Got Talent" kind of deal where she tells her sob story once and then she's gone. I don't think I could handle another elf companion with a tragic past telling me about it for the duration of the game.

The character and emotion of the characters endure me to them. In the human origins you lose your parents and a love interest but you have the means to try and forge a better world for yourself. kinda made me sad i couldnt do the same for her. I'm too sentimental i guess. thanks guys for commenting on the thread

I'd support this *if* we return to Denerim.

Otherwise I don't think we should run into her again. I'm not in favor of there being lots of character cameos from previous games when a sequel is set in a different region of Thedas.

If they are bringing on new characters in DA I, I would like to see the end story of iona's orphaned daughter. It would be a great opportunity to show her grown up into a battle hardened warrior bent out of shape over her mothers death . that would be better than dragging knight captain Cullen through another game. what do you think?

An interesting proposition but...  how old was she in DAO? About six years or so. Add that up with the 8-10 years of DA2  and she would be a teenager.

I don't think biware would send a teen  into such bloody battles as in the Dragon age Universe. Maybe next time.

The thing that always seemed a bit odd to me was that her name was coloured yellow. I my first playthrough I thought that I somehow missed a side quest that involved her, of course later I learned that I was wrong, but still. Why colour the name of a minor npc who doesn't have a side quest or is involved in one, why not leaving it white like the generic "elf", "human", "citizien", etc?

It seems almost like it was content that never quite made it to the game. Lot's of the other origins have you reconnect with your origin story, go back to orzammar/the alienage/circle, or see Tamlen on the road etc. Other than the stuff with Howe, the Human Noble has no real call backs to the origin story. So, perhaps finding her was at some point part of some small quest, where you try to find her a new home/take her to the Chantry etc.

It'd be stunning if she was even alive really. I mean, Denerim got obliterated during the Blight and she was still just a little girl at the time. Would be pretty trippy if she popped up as a companion then lol, and for those who know the context of her backstory/remember that scene it would be a weirdly effective way to show how much time has progressed in Thedas. I still have trouble wrapping my head around the fact that in-game my Wardens have aged, what, like 15 years?

I was just thinking how much I wanted to see that one random elf who just happened to be the daughter of a minor NPC who died 10 minutes into the game

Or the elf that had very minor parts in DA2. Characters that don't have much screen time seem to be fan favorites.

Why, I'll never know.

For Iona i think it`s a lot about not being able to save her   :(  and leaving her daughter all alone .

I don't think I ever completed a single one of my human noble playthroughs, but I like nods like that. I like it about as much as I like the idea of Charade Amell's reappearance, which is to say, very much

Man I was sad you couldn't invite her and her dad to live with you in your lonely old mansion after you lost everyone else in your family.

Seeing her in inquisition could make up for that.
