Real or fake? Any theories on what it could be?

I sure hope this isn't fake. Dishonored, while small in scope, was amazing. Imagine what they could do if they expanded on the first game's mechanics.

I wonder whether or not the Outsider will appear again. Will he mark someone like Corvo? We never did learn of his purpose in the first game.

No freaking way!! I bought the first one just a few months ago for $10 back when the Blockbuster near me was closing down and I really like it. Now there's a chance for a sequel??!!

EPIC!!

Tyvia utilizes penal labor camps located in the nation's center for incarceration, some of which have no surrounding walls to contain prisoners; a prisoner is considered free if they choose to flee. However, due to the area's harsh climate, no escaped prisoner has survived the trek to civilization in recorded history.

Will Bethesda return to the prisoner intro of the TES games?

I know the dev is actually Arkane but I found that particular bit of information funny.  :D

GameSpot reported that a inside source indeed said to expect more at E3!

I loved Dishonored, played on hard with no objective markers and had tons of fun.

Know so much about the first, yet never played it.  Probably because I know so much about it :P

This is very good news though!

The Outsider is a troll. He did it because he thought it would be fun.

Awesome. Hopefully the story will be better this time, the protagonist will have a voice and the sh*tty morality system will be improved *fingers crossed*

It might be real, the devs at arkane said that they were working on a a game like dishonored, Pete Hines said that the series did so well that they consider it a franchise now, and I think another dev or person from the company said something else like that.

If it's real then I don't think they are to happy right now, guess we'll find out.

I hope it comes to fruition because I love the first game sans DLC. One of the few games that rewards non-lethal stealth more than kill-everything-mayhem. My last attempt was nearly perfect, with only 3 or 4 noticed bodies and all items/gold found. Also the game looks good with AA and other graphics tweaks.

I really hope this is true.  :D I love Dishonored. Just recently bought the GOTY edition so I could play the DLC too.

Very interesting. It sounds like being sent to Siberia. The snowy climate could make great scenery, especially in first-person POV.

Haven't finished the first one yet, but I kinda like it.

Its flaws are pretty clear, but the overall... I guess feeling of it is positive and good. A lot of places to improve, but for a franchise, that's a *good* thing; a company can just focus on those clear flaws and present a better game to people and it'll just be eaten up.

Some Dishonored news, although it's probably unrelated to the new game rumors:

There's an art book called Dishonored: The Dunwall Archives coming out in November.
