I sense there's gonna be some serious s*** going on in there. Meaningless to add something additional but not utilize it somehow in the plot.

Something may go on in them, but I think they're mostly there because one thing a lot of people comment on is how there are no bathrooms on any space ships, or that we never see them. Or, for that matter, in most other shows, either. Has Jack Bauer ever stopped for a bathroom break in any season of 24?



So, yeah. They're there because people often comment that there are no bathrooms.

According to the IGN vid some of the Room of the normandy are locked yet even Male Shepard can go in the women bathroom at any time

I suspect foul play

but then the girl showers are just next to Shepard room, something that can be really useful for Fem Shepard, but also Male-Shepard (and some female sheppard)  providing, he can make a hole.

Well we covered most of this on the old forums in terms of the fact that the SR1 didnt really feel believable because of the lack of bathrooms, mess facilities and bunks. At least this time around they put this stuff in even if it does not serve a function. However we do know that EDI keeps track of where you are and makes a comment if you go into the wrong bathroom.

Amusingly enough all three showers head are awfully close to each other, must be hard not to bump into someone when they are more than one person...just imagine if Miranda and Ashley were force to shower together together their two bottom touching each other as they wash their bodies, having to take in account the other women next to them...

If I remember the vid, there was a male and female bathroom since EDI commented Shep was in the wrong one....



Soooo its either



A. Just a comical gag for fans to finally get the bathroom



B. Maybe...possibly......not so much.. could be side quest related



C. A love scene.....somehow, even with BW's genius, I think they'd get flayed for this.

Agreed, I think they put them there just so players can feel more immearsed in the game and relieve themselves of their fears about what Shepard does in his/her free time.  Also, is it just me but does anyone else think that EDI might do some crazy 2001 space odessy stuff? Like male shep could be going to the wrong bathroom....
