It's funny how so many people asked where are the bathrooms in the first game, yet here we have someone complaining about them, which is perfectly ok but to ignorantly say that they are meaningless isn't cool. They may not do something for you but it definitely makes the ship more believable for me and adds to immersion. you don't even know if they are utilized in the plot or not so don't say that they aren't, just chill and wait until the game is released, lol.

Bottom line, they do the same thing the bunks, engine deck, kitchen, captains quarters, etc. do. Make it more believable and ultimately, a better game. Yes toilets make it a better game. It's the little things like that that take a game over the top and amazing in conjunction with everything else. This is why Bioware is awesome!

The real answer is that they're most likely there to be add atmosphere and make the Normandy more believable. The cool answer would be if they allowed you to change stuff like facial hair or makeup.

I was actually happy to see bathrooms (and even a small kitchen) on the Normandy + Shepards improved quarters. I know It's really just fluff, but it makes the Normandy a more belivable place.



I hope to see improved versions of other places from ME1 such as the human "embassy" on the citadel (which was really just a large balcony with a nice view and some desks). But yeah, it's just fluff and the story is the important part.

Gotta say, Cerberus really outdid themselves in the perks department. I mean, in the novels it was all "Do this or Die", but the amenities on the ship are a lot better than the government-issue machine. Selling out to a corporation/private terrorism group definitely has its benefits.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet, so I'll mention... first, in my opinion having the bathrooms is good feature and really make the ship more real. However, couple of things bother me:

1. How come there is urinals in the *ladies* bathroom?! I understand why in the men's, but...

2. There are no toilet rooms, just the urinals and showers...



With bit more thought Bioware could have made it even more real, so it's bit disappointing. Super cool would have been if you had action like "Urinate" when standing there. :-D

If you're Renegade there should also be an option (on the left, in the red, in case you've scored that much on the Renegadometer) for "upperdecking" if you're in the opposite sex's bathroom... ya'll know what an "upperdeck" is right?
