Honestly wish they'd use her Assault on Arkham voice.
It was alot better.
Haven't watched that film should get around to that. I think I stopped paying attention to DC Animated after Bruce Timm produced his last film as it simply wasn't the same anymore.

For real,bro
GameStop exclusive, huh? Guess I'll wait till it's been thoroughly beta-tested and once they release the GOTY edition with every piece of DLC.

Harley Quinn DLC? Hmm, would have preferred Bat-girl or even Catwoman again over playing as Quinn. Don't particularly like Tara Strong as Quinn.
That's only because she's the "new" actor. It always occurs when someone new takes over for an old character.
I didn't really notice the difference between Sorkin and Strong as Harley. She was still Harley to me.

No, I just think she's generally awful and found her voice to be annoying as opposed to the endearing antics of Sorkin.
It felt like a weak attempt at trying to imitate Sorkin, which I suppose she should be commended for at least trying even if it wasn't very good.

I never understand this logic of hiring new actors who then try to imitate the older actors.
Then why bother with replacing them in the first place if you just wanted the same voice.

You can pay them less? Maybe the old actors are not available? No idea. I agree with you that if you hire a new VA, you should give them the chance to bring something new to the role the same way Mark did in his audition of the Joker. Can you imagine if he'd tried to imitate Jack Nicholson or Cesar Romero? We would've missed on the best rendition of the Joker I've seen thus far.

I severely doubt that's the reason for Sorkin's departure, given how long she's been doing the voice for Harley, same with Conroy for Batman.
She is Harley Quinn. She brought the character to life along with its creators, Bruce Timm & Paul Dini.

Truth. If you ask me, I think it would've been fitting to end this trilogy with the original cast. You can always bring in new guys for a new series.

No. She was voiced by Hynden Walch.

I recently finished Arkham City and am now playing through Arkham Origins. Looking forward to Arkham Knight but I think I'll hold off a little while before picking it up.

On Tara Strong replacing Arleen Sorkin, I thought that happened because Sorkin retired from voice acting or retired from voicing Harley.

I'll definitely have to give it a look. I didn't mind Tara too much but her acting does sound exaggerated at times

I'm still trying to keep my head buried in the sand about Arkham Knight for fear of spoilers, I came across some news on Kotaku that I thought might spark some discussion on this thread.
Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be the first M rated Batman game.
I am assuming that this game is going to be extra violent, maybe some of the Scarecrow gas sequences are going to be extremely gruesome and gritty?

Wolverine got an M-rated game, so Batman getting an M-rated game is reasonable.
And that game was substantially better than the movie it was based on.

Founder of Rocksteady and director of Arkham Knight, Sefton Hill has a pretty interesting set of responses regarding Arkham Knight in this IGN article: http://www.ign.com/a...-at-his-darkest The article is worth reading and it makes me respect Rocksteady even more. One potential downside to earning an M rating is that nobody under 17 years old can buy the game without the help of an adult. Hill was aware of this, but he said keeping the game "mass market" wasn't the correct solution."I'm not blind to the fact that [the M rating] does mean some fans will miss out... I don't want to be oblivious to that fact. It would have been wrong to water down the game and deliver a story we didn't believe in to keep the game "mass market" or enable it for more people. We feel that's the wrong way to go about it. We said we love the story and we don't want to jepoardize that."
Take notes BioWare.
