I'm glad to see Firefly again, I'm sick of Bane and Deadshot, to be honest. I am disappointed to see that the Penguin is returning, I'm sick of him as well and would rather they throw in a couple of new villains (Condiment King, please) and spend more time with them. I'd really like Two Face to get a lot of face time (pun intended) as I was disappointed with how quickly he was discarded in Arkham City.

I wish they'd adhere to a small cast of villains ala Arkham Asylum as that paved way for a more engaging and consistent story, where random mooks from Batman's rogues gallery didn't just arbitrarily show up for 5 minutes, stopping just short of doing a little song and dance routine, then removed from the rest of the game entirely -- Firefly is an interesting villain from the Bat-verse, I'd like to see more of Two-Face who was basically absent for the entire game that was Arkham City.. Wally Wingert's Riddler is always an absolute delight to have along, not a fan of Oracle's new voice, tired of Tara Strong's Harley Quinn and miss Arleen Sorkin. Finally; I would really like to see Batgirl, heck even Catwoman if Batgirl can't be there.
Of course, I'd also like to that unresolved plot thread with Hush from Arkham City, which I assume they are not just going to brush off or resolve in some random prequel comic.
Oh, oh, oh and definitely Julian Day. In fact, there was a lot of interesting mystery with him in Arkham City.

There was another secret revolving around him in Arkham City, which players only recently discovered a short while ago. Very interesting how Rocksteady manages to leave subtle hints like this in their game. The whole Arkham City easter egg in Asylum being excellent.

I thought devs confirmed Joker will not be present in the game at all, i just hope he stays dead considering this is the last Arkham game. Harley would also have perfect reason to team up with Scarecrow to take revenge on Batman as well.
It was already annoying when i find out Joker was the main villain in Origins, they could have done so much with Black Mask and he was tossed aside, i hope the same thing won't happen with Scarecrow. In the end Hammil is the only Joker for me and he retired from voicing him, which is even bigger reason why he shouldn't be in the game. Let other villains breath.

The "Gotham is Mine" Trailer
Well that makes Scarecrow a bit more coherent than he usually is. While he does have a genius level intellect, he's usually stuck with his obsession about making everyone feel fear. Even in his Arkham Asylum interview tapes Crane was still obsessed with scaring Dr. Kellerman with manipulation and his toxin. There is no inkling of that in his speech throughout the trailer which indicates (to me at least) that it may not actually be Crane. The changing of his voice actor would also be a clue, but there are numerous reasons for why the voice would have been changed.
Edit: He's not even playing on Batman's fears at all with his speech. I'm really starting to doubt that that's actually Scarecrow, and if it is one of the writers screwed up.

Sigh.
Usually Batman has to derive a cure for Crane's toxin before he defeats him, and Scarecrow wasn't really used will in the Animated Series (or anywhere really) to actually be intimidating. It also doesn't help that his toxin is debilitating to everyone besides Batman simply because Batman is the hero. It's also worth noting that there was a scene in the comics where the other villains were making fun of Scarecrow thinking that he was useless without his toxin. Scarecrow then scared two other inmates enough that they committed suicide, broke out of Arkham, and went on a successful crime spree.
Of course, Scarecrow is a far better villain than condiment man, the guy with eyes on his fingers, and Kaleidoscope man....

As much as I like The Joker.
All 3 Arkham games so far had him as the main villain (In fact that was one of my main problems with Origins. Along with an early career Batman beating Deathstroke in hand to hand combat, who's lost his eye at that point, so he's already a Super Soldier. So Origins can ****** off in general)
Batman has a pretty big rogues gallery, and giving ScareCrow some time to shine is a blessing.
I also think it'd be a disrespect to Mark Hamill to bring back The Joker with younger sounding Troy Baker in a game set in the present of the Arkham Timeline. Pretty much saying "Your swan song as this character is now rendered moot because we wanted a big twist in the game!"

There's a code on the left side of the gif:
*snip*
Does anyone have any idea what "c Ren3n3 N2Jn3tjHn2" means? I can sort of see Jonathan Crane in the code.
There are three codes in the trailer. They were decoded and lead to character bios for Harley, Ivy, and Scarecrow on the official website in the "persons of interest" section.

I'm getting seriously worried about Arkham Knight. It just got delayed again, the new release date is June 23, 2015. I wonder what made them need to delay it for six months the first time and then warranted another three week delay? I'm hoping it's polishing, but I'm starting to get pessimistic.

I haven't played Arkham Origins... Is there any way Deathstroke could come back? He's easily one of my favorite DC characters and I'd love to see him in Knight.
Also, has anything been said about how this game managed to get an M rating?

If Deathstroke comes back, it'll probably be in a SS game, since he was recruited by Amanda Waller at the end of Origins.
Arkham Knight probably got an M rating for blood and violence. Rocksteady said nothing was changed to accommodate a T rating.
