Ah, well, I haven't played Arkham City yet so maybe that's it.

I tried but it got too large too early with hundreds of things to do, it was overwhelming.
"Arkham City is just the beginning!".
"We own Arkham City, screw anybody else who thinks they do!"
"Arkham City.... go to hell".
"It's the friickin Baaaat!".
"All units, Batman is the target".
"Hey Catwoman... we're gonna kick the crap out of you!"
"You're gonna meeow for me?!".
"Get him on the ground, and stomp on his face!".
"Nice outfit, Catwoman. Take it off!".
Oh so many henchmen quotes to quote

Arkham Origins is litterally the same in terms of busy work, major difference being that the side quests are actually interesting side stories, some which allude to future events.

You mean that the side quests in Origins are more interesting I take it? Or City?

City, should have made that clear at first. Anyway, City is what I meant.

Very well, I'll give it another go then.
By the way, how do I change Batman's suit?

You mean to the other skins? In City you can only switch when doing New Game+
Personally, I don't care for them. I like the vanilla version better. In Origins, I'm not quite sure.

Oh, that's too bad. I mean, the Batman games are good but I'm not sure I'd do a NG+ run just for a skin. ![]()

I've found myself replaying them quite a bit, mostly Asylum though -- The sprawlyness and interesting backstory you can uncover through interview tapes and collectibles that made it replayable for me, not to mention the references and easter eggs directed at Batman lore. It's not quite as forgettable as most open worlds as of today, though Asylum wasn't open world. It was tightly designed which was always the advantage it had over City.

Yup, that's what I liked about Asylum. I even took the time to find every single trophy. ![]()
Ah yes, also have fond memories of tracking down every single collectible in Asylum. Good times, good times. Had to chuckle to Riddler regarding his trophy hunt, and how he called out on me cheating by using the internet as a way to find them. He certainly got me there (to some extent at least, only used it to find the maps that showed where the remaining items were). ![]()
Regarding Arkham Knight--yeah I'm gonna stick with getting the GOTY edition. I'm a bit if a completionist when it comes to the Arkham games (excluding Origins here, b/c reasons), and I can't be content with having DLCs "missing" from my experience, so gonna wait till next year so that I can enjoy the game in full splendor.
I wonder what WB Games Montreal is going to do with the next one, if there even is another one after Knight.

The current rumor is that they are making an SS game.
Hmm... I wonder who

It just hit me, you know what would be incredibly useful? If the HUD included a distance-to-target feature so I don't have to check on the map every five seconds.

Is it true they are remastering AC and Asylum for PS4/Xbone?

I like how Origins isn't counted in the grand scheme of things in one of the newer Arkham Knight trailers. The description of the video said something about "the conclusion to the epic Arkham trilogy", which I found hilarious.
Can someone explain to me why is Origins getting so much hate? The only thing i really disliked in that game was that they made Joker the main villain again. But i don't understand why are ppl hating on it so much, i actually found the plot superior to City or was it because the game is too similiar to City?

I liked Origins as well. I thought it had a good story and gameplay features, such as a new detective mode that separated it from Asylum and City. I think what people disliked about it was that it recycled a lot of the same gameplay elements from the previous two games, like combat, gadgets, and didn't really elevate anything to the next level, such as Arkham Knight's batmobile.
See Page 14 for an answer to the Origins thing.
