Batman's rule of not killing is very flawed. So long as the person still breaths, he can pat himself on the shoulder.

The condition they are in however doesnt matter to him.

 

It's a comic book world, the hero will never kill the bad guy. Even if he does, characters will come back the next year because sales. Especially someone like Joker who is one of the most iconic villains in the world.

 

Daredevil, Superman, Spider-man and Flash are the same so it's not fair to call Batman out on it.

If you've read the comics, it's obvious who he is. Sa'll I'm saying. So don't read particular comics from particular writers and famous comic artists.

I'm just hoping they didn't ruin Scarecrow. Especially seeing as the his best portrayal so far has only be in Asylum.

 

They've reused too many ideas. Scarecrow unleashing a fear toxin on the city...again? And it sounds like the Batmobile was shoe horned in. *sigh*

 

They should have kept it more noir and less high tech. And cramming all the old villains in every game gets dull. 

 

Well it's not like Scarecrow has a bag of tricks to pull out. While he's capable of inflicting fear without his trademarked toxin, the toxin is faster and more effective. The fear toxin is comparable to Two-Face's double-sided  coin.

For some reason, they got a somewhat popular young actress (Ashley Green) to play Oracle. I wonder if that means it's a bigger part. Last couple of games it was Kimberly Brooks (Ash from ME).

 

Changing a VA because of a bigger part in the game makes no sense at all.

Bethesda hires big name voice actors all the time, only for them to drop off the face of the earth for about 80% entirety of it.

It was a rather questionable move replacing Brooks.. along with a few other things.

I'm gonna be optimistic here and say its probably that Brooks was busy with other things, which caused problems with the schedule.

Although, the way I see it Kimberly Brooks wasn't very good as Barbara and since this game needed more of her and her relationship with Batman, they needed some more "oomph" to the acting and thus drama, I guess.

 

Another thing real quick: It sounds like I was right regarding story, use of Batmobile and all that. Several reviews have slammed it for having "ham-fisted dialogue" and the "worst main story yet" and "forced use of Batmobile". All the things I thought was gonna be bad about the game are bad and I guess I'm just glad a lot of the reviewers seem to recognize it this time #MassEffect3

I thought Kimberly Brooks did a good job. The only problem I had with her was that her voice is so distinct, it was hard to not to picture Ashley Williams the entire time.

 

I personally don't really mind the idea of forced Batmobile gameplay at times.

The Batgirl story dlc is a prequel, if I'm not mistaken.

They chose the wrong Batgirl -- The timeline for Arkham doesn't make much sense to me anyway by the time Origins came around.
