And he's running on 720p resolution if the blurb in the title isn't being misinterpreted by me. And I still just heard him say there's a couple fps dips ... that's quite impressive. You really have to work hard to botch up a game so hard that it dips even on 720p on any remotely up-to-date system. I mean, that's significantly lower resolution than the consoles run at. I don't know what system he's playing on, but to have worse performance than current consoles, oh boy ... that's not even funny if you run it on a 500 bucks budget PC.
He has quite a beast of a machine as far as I know. Either double or triple 980s, powerful i7 and 32 GB RAM. A high-end gaming PC.
Apparently there's memory leakage problems in the game - after a while you get horrible stuttering, probably because system runs out of VRAM.
Now that's just really bad programming.
There seems to be real problems with texture streaming (textures load forever or not at all), and I already mentioned missing features - people on neogaf saw that PC port is missing rain textures on Batman's mask and ambient occlusion (there is no ambient occlusion at all, while PS4 version seems to have SSAO).
A 30 fps lock that cannot be changed in game, you must edit ini file. You cannot disable horrible motion blur - if you edit ini files, the game crashes. If you enable SLI it somehow makes the performance worse, than running it on a single card (apparently, if you have 2 cards, it's best to run it on single one, a set the second as dedicated PhysX processor).
What a mess...
Also, the backlash is really brutal - 1.4 on Metacritic, 32% on Steam.
