cant stand any 'nades characters except the destroyer.
BatSol, Krentinel, MQE, The Bartender, none of those?

I just hate being a slave to the ammo boxes; typically there is always someone playing a 'nades character..so everyone is running to the ammo boxes because the grenadiers are trying to 'nade spawns or groups of mooks.... I do like the Talon Merc though.. and the Volus Engineer
hey Ocel0t did you play DaOC by any chance?
Must agree with most of your choices:
Juggy:
"You just heavy melee that banshee for 5 minutes while I head-shot it - thanks pall"
Cabal:
I tried this lass a few times but poison strike was just so unpredictable.
Before someone says "Host", I manage to play all other characters with no issue.
Awakened Collector:
With the slow floating ball of uselessness. By the time it gets there, the enemy is dead.
And they're butt ugly.
Krolord:
I'm a Krogan Warlord and I'm good against Geth and .............erm..............that's it.
Volus (any):
Well Mr Volus, it's thanks to you and your horde of badly played smurf balls, that I managed to get my 15 revives medal. So busy spamming shield boost they forget to actually kill anything, or the Phantom standing behind.
Vorcha (any):
I wouldn't say they were unloved, but merely meh! They don't do exceptionally badly or dominate either. They just turn up spamming a noisy flamer and disappear again after coming 3rd or 4th.

I do not, I'm not one who has a ton of time to dedicate to gaming so since I picked up ME3 recently I'm pretty much devoted to that, and probably will be til ME4 comes out.
I never see any QMEs and when I do the guy using him does terrible and has a crap loadout. I saw a guy using both a Krysae and a Phaeston and lets just say he did worse than a Puggernaut .

I don't ever see him, period. Hardly ever see any Quarians for that matter. QFI, QMI, QME, all are beastly classes, but I guess even beastly classes fail in the hands of a new player.

But I see QFE/QFIs left and right. Again they usually have strange loadouts and fail miserably.
QME is one of the most OP kits ever.
the hunter is a perfectly good kit, and is my favorite of the vorcha, he uses standard human mobility instead of the reduced mobility of the soldier and sentinel, and when combined with the massive 30% speed bonus from bloodlust can out run any other character for a short time, he also handles better in cqb due to his much higher acceleration, and neither of his powers slow him the way flamer does, he is simply superior as a melee character, and both his active powers are great for wearing away enemies defense, he requires the proper weapon, but is very well balanced and effective
You are wrong on the speed issue: Flamer is easily canceled with dodges or heavy melee (which jumps on quite the distance) . The usual Vorcha player indeed does what you claim, eats all his Flamer timer, waits a decade for it to go back up, with his super Acolyte for a weapon, and then walks again Flaming.
Flamer can actually be played very agressively and very fast with cancels, priming all the time, taking advantage of Flamer's big dot after you've stopped actively flaming, and having a short timer on resets. The best way to do this is to take the evo which eats shields/barriers, so that you may often melee out of Flamer on shield-less enemies: they're staggered by your melee or the lingering Flamer dot. And it stills does an ok job on armor.
Out of the 3 Flamer kits, only the Geth soldier his supposed to be truly slow. Even then, nothing forces you to play the scrubby way as the character is also a great weapon platform: just cancel your way out of Flamer, shoot, take cover, flame a little, shoot... Don't limit yourself to a monolithic playstyle.
In my last Vsent game my medals were: 25 AR kills, 25 tech kills(including quite a few FEs), 10 biotic kills,10 melee kills. I couldn't imagine just roaming at 2km per hour with this character, a Vorcha has to breakdance an claw its way out.
Not a fan of playing Edibot , Jug , Warlord and the TGI. The first 3 play like they were designed by players who were looking for a short cut from Bronze to Gold . The TGI because no challenge to play

Speed issue- The soldier and sentinel are slower than the Hunter, That is not negotiable, they have lower base stats and no method of improving it more than the engineer, and although the stats themselves aren't that much lower, the bonuses suffer from the lower base, meaning more bonuses only increase the difference.
And the biggest difference is in acceleration, the hunter can change directions and go from still to full speed nearly twice as fast as the other two, which for any kit that spends time close to the enemy is a very important factor, second is their top sprint speed in which the soldier and sentinel are 15% slower than their compatriot
It is that flame forces you to walk, even a short burst puts the characters at a mobility disadvantage due to their poor ability to recover quickly, using flamer badly is just another way to play the game badly. I know The method you describe, It is how I use flamer most of the time, albeit with slightly different evolution choice

i just want to say f all flamer kits
All the Turian and Quarian kits. ![]()
Because Krogaaaaaaaan~
It's Quarian poop suits. Shockingest reveal of the year for me.
What are you talking about? All of these kits BUT the lolvorcha receive love. Maybe abet too much love.
What?! He's the only popular Vorcha among real players. It's the lamers that get the hate.
And no, he's not that weak of a kit cause incinerate can be glitched with incendiary ammo. Not to mention he's the only Vorcha that can be set for max stats and is the fastest Vorcha too (both these things say best Vorcha for melee builds too).
He's also one of my fave kits to slap the Harpoon gun on, since the net power is not located on the right shoulder button to be shared with the same finger that charges the bloody thing like on the blasted BatarianSent the weapon was introduced for in the fist place. BioWare devs, what were you guys thinking? If not, then give us the option to map our own buttons, thank you. Otherwsie in the next ME (or HD re-release) put powers that are only used only once per match on the right shoulder button for crying out loud so I can always keep that finger on the fire trigger. This pisses me off more then anything. And not just on the BatarianSent kit. Many kits I won't slap a charge weapons on because of this reason.
At this point in the game, there are only a few characters I don't care for, or have an utter dislike towards:
Fury
Talon Merc
Volus sentinel
Volus vanguard
Human Sentinel
GI
QME
QMI
Demolisher (I hate arc grenades with passion)
QFI

Not really a Quarian-fanboy, are you?
I don't have anything against quarians per se. It's just that I hate arc grenades and 2/5 quarians have it. In general, I like moderate grenade spam but arc grenades feel utterly boring to me compared to others.
The reason I don't care for QFI is because the two popular playstyles are already taken care of by other infiltrators - HFI takes care of shotguns + sticky grenade spam, SI takes care of stagger + snipe.
QFE is alright. I don't particularly rate the character highly but it's nice to play it every now and then.
Now, the QMS - that's a character I really like a lot. Would be my pick of the soldiers.
Then again, there's always the 'looks' category. But asari have quarians beat there. ![]()

+1 on the Asari! I am sucker for them, too.

What don't you like about Arc Nades?
To me, it feels like arc grenades have way too many positives with almost no downsides.
Huge radius, goes through walls, primes for TBs, detonates all tech combos, pretty much guaranteed stagger on everything that isn't a boss unit. And I really can't think of any negatives.
All other grenades have some downside or the other. Arc grenades feel downright boring to use. ![]()
