We have the Omnibus for the old old forums when we transferred over to the newer Bioware forums (which are now the old Bioware forums).  Now that we have the new, new Bioware forums, should be scrape the old Bioware forums for information to preserve what was there?

English goes - subject --> verb --> object.

Also watch your tenses they're all over the place.

Also no (I think), I'd rather have Legacy BSN preserved.

Erm, I don't think you understood the joke (or even that it was one)...but thanks for the pedantic grammar lesson!

We've now got 3 iterations of Bioware boards:

1)  The Omnibus is from the original Bioware boards that no longer exist (when there were only 2 forums these were the 'old' forums, but now they're the 'old old' forums)

2)  The BSN boards we're migrating from (they were at one time the 'new' forums, but now they're the 'old' forums)

3)  This new forum we're migrating to that may or may not include all of the previous version's content (these are now the 'new new' forums, since the BSN boards wer the 'new' forums)

The question is whether someone can scrape the BSN boards for content and either append the Omnibus or create a separate one?

Apologies if the flippant construction of the joke was too much for some.  Feel free to grade my work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all of the post in the Newer "Old Bioware Forums" already here in the newest bioware forums, and are still editable?

(Not to discredit the idea mind you, I'm sure having a searchable database offline, would be sorta cool.) :D

They are. They're also far more searchable than they used to be, with these new forums. It'd still be nice to have that material alongside the old-old forums in the Omnibus, though. Most of the old threads have all the info they need in them to make them worth putting in the Omnibus, and having to search two sets of sources is a nuisance.
