You're just wasting my time here. And yours. Perhaps this type of 'argument' impresses your friends. I wouldn't know. It's overwhelmingly obvious you don't have any reasoning to offer and are thus utterly dependent on your meaningless platitudes and smiley faces. I'm interested in an actual discussion concerning defeat in video games. Not this nonsense.

You are free to leave at any time. Don't let the door hit you on the backside.

He'll just put on another fake moustache and sneak in through the crawlspace again.

And suppose the writers want Shepard to be defeated by Leng. Not by a gunship. Not by missiles. By Leng.

If that's an incomprehensible defeat to you, feel free to replace Leng by any human-sized antagonist.

So what then? This solution obviously would not work.

This is called assuming the conclusion. You're assuming a conclusion you don't like and proclaiming it as the immediate endgame for said direction.

It's also known as a slippery slope.

Fallacies David. Fallacies.

Anywho, your claim isn't legitimate since Shepard was indeed beat by the fact that Leng had air support and used it. Not by Leng alone.

I messaged a mod the other day, and said mod thanked me and said he'd watch David closely. So there's that. Yeah.

You're free to go away whenever you like if you feel your time is being wasted here.

Because sunshine, we aren't here to make you feel special, or to make you feel like you're spending your time well. If you feel your time is wasted, by all means, go spend your time somewhere else where you feel like its important. Because it seems that everyone on this site wastes your time.

But who would he scoff at? :(

An example of inevitabal defeat that i really liked was the one in TW2 against Leto, and since the concept of the 2 (Shep vs Leng and Geralt vs leto) is the same i think the main problem here is that: 1) Kai Leng is a joke..... **** to kill Shepard the (non-retarded version of) Harbinger had to destroy the Normandy and a random guy just destroys a whole team full of badasses? 2)he is just a random guy, at best he killed a debilitated Thane in a rather questionable fashon (Shep standing there like a moron) and at worst he is a troll who was make out to be a big deal without nothing to prove it

I like the direction this thread is going.

Citadel delivered exactly what the fans asked for: basically, more interactions with your companions, such as your ME2 companions who were mostly sidelined in ME3. It was a "love letter" to the fans rampant with fan service, meta jokes, citizens discussing multiplayer tactics, you name it. It is a great piece of DLC with tons of content even if it does little in terms of adding to the story in the way LotSB does.

If you want a story-based DLC, here's a concept I wrote some time before Citadel was released.

And i can get behind that, but as i sayed it's pretty sad that a DLC was, arguably, better received and has given a better closure than the game

It's not just the boss battle, Kai Leng is just about the worst character in the ME franchise. He's like a weird hybrid between Raiden and Final Fantasy.

Heck, Leng's armor and sword is so similar to Raiden's, it looks like they just copied and re-skinned it.

That's just silly. Why should DLC on average be of a lower quality then games on average?

You know, the forums really were beautiful for the time David wasn't in them.

You seem incredulous at the possibility of a DLC being received better on average than a game on average. Is there some reason why you believe DLC should be of a lower quality than vanilla games?

In fact, a bit of basic math tells us that since DLC is far shorter, the likelihood of at least one short DLC being received better than a much longer game is exceptionally high.

And I'm trying to get him gone again. It really is a sad existence for him if he wants to keep coming here (after he's been banned twice) and proclaim how much people here waste his time.

I think it's what Deinon said. He needs to scoff at someone, and/or impress people, even though the only impressing he's doing is impressing me with the ability he has to make me impress my palm even deeper into my face.

1. You just made up a position to project onto another user for the sole purpose of attacking it. This is called a straw-man David. In argument and debate, it's seen as an immediate forfeiture of the argument on your side.

2. You provided no formula or supporting evidence or proof to back up your claim. Thus your claim has no merit or legitimacy. It is untrue until you prove it true.

Do you not understand the math? I'd be happy to explain things so they make sense for you.

What math? You didn't give any math. Math doesn't work without a formula or equation or problem. Telling somebody that it 'works' and chastising them for not taking it seriously with no evidence does not make something work David.
