Mass Effect 2 was the first parody. Then their was Lair Of The Shadow Broker, that was sort of cliche action movie, that was pretty much the precursor of ME3. Mass Effect 3 and the Citadel , follow the same pattern of action formula Hollywood, that has been with ME, since ME2, to please the mainstream gamer.
Citadel DLC, a parody of ME

Only thing about that is Kia leng never puts a hand on you. Not even in a cutscene, yes he technically wins but only cause he cheated. I mean he basically just has the gunship blow up the building once he realizes he can't win. I don't really see that as getting my ass kicked. I mean he didn't even injure anyone...Vasir doesn't recharge, she jumps back in with the same barrier she had before.
Plus You don't spend the entire fight whipping her only to get your ass kicked in a cutscene.

as for the kai leng fight, would it have been better for shep to have been able to beat leng, then say some asari gunships show up and get shot down by the reaper capship, and they knockout the temples supports and cause the whole thing to collapse? and leng gets the data because he's luckily on the right side of the newly formed hole in the floor, while at the same time shepard's across the room with the rest of the floor falling apart before him/her? actually, I think I'd have been able to live with that.

The game says otherwise. Everyone acts like Shepard got their ass handed to them. In fact that's Anderson's exact words.

I dunno what copy me1 you got but to say that me1 is any different in that catagory is ridiculous..that ending cheese grin/shep monologue...the cipher...using the conduit to fly a mako thru a solid wall just because?

Yeah, mass relays =/= teleporters.
Why does nobody mention that hole in logic?

Did nobody else notice the giant hole punched through the wall of the Presidium after you zap there in the Mako?Yeah, mass relays =/= teleporters.

So then shouldn't shep and crew be dead? I don't think the mako is that strong..

Not really.. I mean yes she is introduced as a fellow spectre but otherwise they don't show anything very impressive. She tries to kill liara twice and fails...she even blew up a whole building... And that didn't even kill liara or her contact...and then she crashes her sky car and limps away till you beat her to a pulp....believable character maybe, peer to shep? No way in hell.
Peer doesn't have to mean equal though, just as a fellow SPECTRE.
She gets more personality and characterisation the Kai Leng does by a long, long way (even just in the looks and glances she gives). I'd take Vasir as the bad guy in ME3 anytime over Kai Leng.

Being a spectre doesn't mean you can hang with shep tho. Jordam bau (sp?) is a fellow spectre also, he can be killed by a random person if shep and kasumi arnt there. I mean Kia leng is ex n7 and filled to the brim with reaper upgrades. That would make him more formidable then probably anyone else not as loaded with upgrades as shep is.

Saren and co. went through before the Mako caught up. Maybe they sent a rock (or an armature) through first. So then shouldn't shep and crew be dead? I don't think the mako is that strong..

I don't get why people like the Vasir fight but hate the Kia leng one. It's almost identicle in execution, gotta recharge/biotic charge to some place random while mooks take over. And not only that but vasir is severly injured during the fight but holds off shep plus team just fine..I mean I guess since you actually win it sa little different but that's when you get accused of being just as bad as her because your with Cerberus which is
When Vasir runs away she actually goes out of line of site. Kai Leng crouches in the wide open where you can still shoot at him and strip off his shields faster than he can regenerate them. Also, beating Vasir in the fight leads to her death, while Kai Leng was just... going easy on you??? (I mean he sticks his sword in the ground and suddenly he wins through cutscene magic).

Even if that were true it definatly didn't show us and or make a hint of it really. Plus what are the odds the mako would hit that same exact spot on the citadel?

Cutscene Shepard of course discards his Adas for the weakest pistol in the game...When Vasir runs away she actually goes out of line of site. No, he wins cause his gun ship blows up the building. He doesn't do a damn thing in that cutscene but slap your squaddies around a bit. leng also goes out if sight in the first fight cause the gunship blinds you while he's recharging...I still don't see much of a difference they both only live as long as they do cause the devs allow it.

Saren went through when the Citadel's arms were open. Shepard went through when the Citadel was sealed up. The difference between filling a jar that's open and attempting to fill jar that has it's lid on.

Maybe traveling at faster than light speeds grants some sort of phasing ability.

The hole is right there on the wall behind you. The Citadel hasn't moved since Saren went through; of course you'd hit the same spot. The only thing we don't know is how Saren made the hole (any number of explanations) and why the Presidium still has atmo (probably mass effect fields).Even if that were true it definatly didn't show us and or make a hint of it really. Well at the end of the day, like a lot of things in the trilogy it's a minor point I'm willing to overlook.

Okay so Saren made the hole, what stopped the mako from going straight thru the hole and impacting the other side of the citadel? I mean the mako wasn't really built for precision stops out of FTL..

You can still quite easily shoot at Kai Leng during the entire time he recharges, he is not out of Line of Sight. When he gets out of recharge mode he only has like 10 of his shields left which causes him to immediately go back into recharge mode
The problem with the gun ship is that it blows up the building in the most convenient matter possible. I'm not an expert on Asari architecture but I don't think one of their buildings would fall apart like that.

I'm assuming conservation of momentum. Once the Mako returned to it's original mass wouldn't it return to the same velocity it had when entering the Relay?

Hmm I guess that would work, tho still I'm not convinced the hole was made by Saren originally. I'll have to play thru that part again.
