Blink the wrong way and you die?

I suppose it might be safer than a cynanide capsule molar. At least you wouldn't be confined to eating mush for the rest of your life.

well a regular flashbang overloads the ocular nerve with sensory in order to temporarily blind the target but an ocular nerve flashbang seems like poorly chosen descriptive words.. Overloaded and redundant term since it implies the same function as a regular flashbang. Whats it supposed to do?

I assumed it simply created excess pressure in the cranial vault, destroying the brain.

But yes, it is odd they would call it a flashbang instead of grenade or explosive or something.  Error with the translator microbes, err universal translator.

A real flashbang would be cool. Imagine that, you're smacking them around for imformation, then suddenly, "FWASH!" And they're gone.

probably via a trigger that is wired to the flashbang attached to the occular nerve.  Just about any explosion in or near the cranium, would make messy short work of any brain/skull.  Safest, I imagine, would me a trigger in the mouth that is triggered by the tongue.  Much like a cynanide capsule.  (by safest, I mean ensures that the agent can trigger it even if captured and bound)
