I think if you're that set against Cassandra, you've probably already given up on Dragon Age long before this. Dawn of the Seeker and the upcoming inquisition is one of the only things known about franchise since DA2. Why give up now, and not then? What else were you hoping for?

...You do understand that that ability is warrior-related, not Cassandra specific, right?
Yes. Wich is why I won`t play a character that uses a sword and shield etc. But this might not even be in the final game, so I am not losing sleep over it. Pretty much everything else they have revealed about DA:I looks great. I am hoping it will be at least as good as DA:O.

If the gate smashing is in the finished version of th game, I won`t use her at all. Immersion breaking.
I agree about not liking the gate smash ability, but why dont you just not use the ability?

Dawn of the seeker is not part of the franchise, its a anime. So there is still hope that sanity wins game wise.

It is considered canon and referenced in World of Thedas.

Wich means Cassandra should be able to kill every dragon in the game by herself, using a small dragon.

I suspect that players can solo the dragons Hell I saw someone solo the high dragon on nightmare with a dwarf rogue.

It's on the timeline (at 9:22) and the text when it talks about that event being the first time in 100 years that Val-Royaux closed its gates (because of the dragon attack). Cassandra also has a tiny description calling her a right hand of the divine and a famous seeker.
I don't have my book with me right now though, so paraphrasing will have to do.

Speaking of that movie, I hope Colleen Clinkenbeard, who voiced Cassandra, is a voice for the Inquisitor or even a companion.
Waaaaaat?!? You're telling me that Riza Hawkeye voiced mah waifu in that film? Yay!

i hope so... i've already decided i'm definitely gonna romance cassie if it's possible... and if she'll still like me as a mage... and an elf... and, well, a woman
Ahem that's crossing a LOT of lines but given this is Bioware...Shouldn't be an issue.

A kiss on the cheek at the end. Who knows, maybe they got together and Cassandra is not romancable in Inquisition.

Chaste Kiss on the cheek two decades plus before DAI doesn't mean much to most fans.
The Movie occurred in 9:21 Dragon
DAI occurs post 9:41 Dragon
Also...That mean's Cass is getting up there in Years.
Hrm, Never really thought about her age.

Only the mage one seems significant.

Well, she is in her mid to late teens in the movie, which means she is in her mid to later 30s now. That sounds about right.

We can't know if that's an actual line unless her heterosexuality is actually confirmed, now can we?

Ah, alright. So she's at least 38? Not bad, we could use some older heroes. It certainly beats the 12-24 JRPG cast (the majority of the time, anyway ~_~ ).
