Don't know if this has been posted, so I figured I would post it for those who are curious if GameStop is doing a mid night launch where they live. But here is the link I found, its pretty easy to skim through to find your state and city and gamestop store. It's very helpful.

And from the looks of it, and as I imagined and have been hearing, A wholeeee lot of gamestops are doing the mid might launch which is good. Esp for those who have preorded ME2. Because if you think about it, you never know if the terminous armor/whatever else codes might run out if possible. Which is why you might want to get ME 2 at gamestop as quick as you can.. Just a tip though...

I did this for Warcraft on the expansion pack. A long long time ago, I felt a little like a nerd waiting outside with my fellow nerds awaiting the game to come out. Sitting in a long line.



But this does look promising. I am going to be inside my house, away from judging eyes

Luckily for me there's not many hardcore gamers in Lansing for some reason so I anticipate the line for ME2 will be about as long as it was when I went to get DA...Which is to say practically non-existant.

I have a buddy who works at the Gamestop I ordered from. (Won't break street date for me and I will never let him forget it.) He told me there were only 5 CE copies and like 20 normal copies reserved there, so even if there is a line, it wont be too long.

Uugh there's two Gamestops in Salinas and I ordered mine at the one that isn't having a mid-night drop... I'm gonna have to cancel it and hope there's some still available at the right one...

It's pretty convenient to be able to pick the game up at midnight if you're taking a PTO day on Tuesday.  Then you have the option to pull the all nighter if you're so inclined (which is usually what winds up happening to me for midnight releases, whether I intend to or not), or to roll out of bed as soon as you wake up the next morning and spend all day in your PJs glued to the monitor/TV/controller/mouse & KB.  The last midnight release I actually had to spend any significant amount of time waiting in line for was for ME1, but that was at least half due to some other game that was releasing simultaneously (can't remeber what the heck that was, wanna say it was Rock Band...)

Still pissed my GameStop put me down for a standard edition 360 copy instead of the CE I asked for, but at least they're doing a midnight release.

That's pretty much my plan. Except that I'm taking Wednesday as well.

Dang it. The gamestop I preordered from is not having a midnight release. At least it is within walking distance from my house so getting there early the 26th should not be a problem..

People will go to extreme lengths to be able to enjoy Mass Effect 2. But hey, thats what its all about! Nobody wants a RRoD'ed 360 before we go to war with teh Reapers again!

Well, at least my Lake Elsinore one is having a midnight. Last time I did that was Halo3 (which turned out to be thouroughly conquered 4 hours later on Legendary). I'm getting CE through Amazon though, sooooo kinda pointless, unless I decide to blow 60 bucks for Terminus Armor.

I already know my local Gamestop (Davis California @ The Marketplace) is doing it. In fact when I went in to pre-order Dragon Age: Awakening the other week, I saw the guy in the store putting the midnight release poster up on the door and he saw me and was like, "So yeah we are so doing the Midnight release and I will ensure your Collector's Edition is kept in the back door warehouse." I had to lol right there.

PS: He knows me very well cause I finish paying off the pre-order on the midnight release of Assassin's Creed II and L4D2 and I kinda stopped the vibe there for a second lol.

 I havent found one......talked to my local EB - no Midnight release nor are others in the area nor any of the other chains that stock games. MW2 however was a completely different story but seems as if there no ME fans in my area
