[Zelanthair]

I thought I'd make a post here for this. Show me your Dalish warden! Tell me a bit about them. Did they make the Ultimate Sacrifice? Who was their Love Interest? If you're a console gamer like me, you can visit this website to download the character creator that Bioware provides.

 

 

This was my very first Warden, so I'm quite fond of her.

 

 

This is Raelyn Mahariel. My first playthrough had her choose the ultimate sacrifice while in a romance with a King Alistair. (This was after he agreed to let her be his mistress). I've used previous saves to romance Zevran while going to the ultimate sacrifice as well. I'm about to take her through another ultimate sacrifice with an Alistair King who's in love with her (but broke up with her because she didn't kill Loghain) and a Zevran who's in love with her. 

 

For some reason, I love putting her through the sacrifice. 

 

When we can access the Keep, I'll have a Dalish female Warden who is the King Alistair's mistress (if possible, having Zevran be in love with her. I always hover between the two. I'm so cruel.). I'll probably have one save that's for being King Alistair's mistress and another save for her being Zevran's love, going back to Antiva to take over the Crows.

I play on my Xbox 360, so I tried the Character Creator, but couldn't figure out how to post an image of my character. The Online Storage Server hasn't worked in awhile, so I can't mess around with the profile diagnostics. Oh well.

My character's name is Mythal, named after the Goddess Mythal: The Great Protector, and she is a Dalish rogue. Confession time: this is actually my first playthrough as an elf in general. I've developed a strong interest in the Dalish these past several months and had to play as one.

In my mind:

Her first love is Tamlen, so when he disappears and officially dies later on, she is devastated

Her second love is a hardened Alistair. Right after reviving Arl Eamon, when it is decided that Alistair will compete for the throne as King, Mythal soon realizes there will never be a future with a King of Ferelden, for she is Dalish. She does not want to be a lover in hiding, a mistress, so she breaks up the relationship

Her third and final lover is Zevran, a fellow elf whose mother was Dalish. I'm currently in the beginning stages of this romance, but I've read spoilers about a Zevran romance. I think ultimately, Mythal will not commit the ultimate sacrifice, and go back to wandering again with Zevran at her side.

If I can figure a way to upload her portrait in the future, then I will.

I was so sad! Really! I'm not sure if dialogue is different depending on your conversations during the Origin story, but Tamlen told Mythal he always loved her. I'm a guy, this is true, but I am a sucker for that sort of thing.

Here's one of my Dalish wardens. My canon warden has brown hair and eyes but with this one I wanted white because I thought it looked cool and unique.  Both my male wardens belong to Zev! I can never NOT romance him, it's impossible  He didn't make the ultimate sacrifice. I couldn't do that to Zevran. Not after all we went through and I didn't want my warden to be another person to abandon him. 

 

I always wished that the Tamlen love story happened with a male warden. Now I just headcanon that my warden loved him but he was oblivious to his feelings. Maybe that's why he decided to join the Grey Wardens after the mirror event. He didn't care if it was possibly suicide because he didn't want to be around Tamlen's things and the memories. Zevran helped him move on.

 

I love how the game allows us to create these kind of back stories and motivations. Never experienced something like that before!

 

[Just My Moniker]

Im on a console and using a chromebook so I cant post a pic of my Mahariel but I can probably do a better job at just describing her. She has dark red, wavy hair that hangs down to her shoulders and usually falls around her face. Her skin is pale and she has emerald eyes. Shes stunningly beautiful in a mousy sort of way. Shes slender, taller than most elves with lithe muscles. Shes very solitary and doesnt like to speak unless its absolutely necessary. She takes great pride in her history and hates shems (she later realizes that there are some good humans) One of the most interesting choices I had her make was when she went on a bloody rampage of the werewolves, killed Witherfang, and after hearing the whole story, slew Zathrian as well because he had caused the deaths of so many Dalish. She falls into a kind of love/hate relationship with Leliana. Drake (her Mabari) becomes her favorite companion and best-friend.

 

After writing all that I forgot to mention her name   Fylion Mahariel
