Ok, starting a new game (hopefully this one isn't considered too similar to something else as well) -

Clap, Slap or Scrap!

The rules - 
A list will be provided of three names of fictional characters.  The characters can be from any medium (books, tv, movies, games, etc.) but all three characters should be somehow related (all from the same movie(Avatar), same series(Seinfeld), or same franchise (Star Trek)).
The next person to post after the list decides which of the three characters deserves a Clap On The Back (good character, you like them, a positive response), which deservers a Slap In The Face (screwing up and needs to be set straight, causing problems and needs to behave, a corrrective response), and which deserves to be Scrapped Entirely (erased from existence, mistake they were ever made, you just don't like them, the negative response)!
After chosing, that person makes the next list of 3 as well.  When making a list be helpful and say what the three are from (example: Sesame St - Oscar, Big Bird, Elmo.)

So after I post the starting 3, the next poster decides who gets Clapped, Slapped and Scrapped and then posts their list of three!

Huh.

Clap - Joker. He's great at what he does.
Slap - Batman. We need less Dark Knight and more "ol' chum" IMO
Scrap - Two Face. Even after Eckhart's good turn in the Dent role, Tommy Lee Jones all but ruined this character for me.

Dragon Age: Origins - Alistair, Sten, Zevaran

Clap - Alistair. For being all the things he is that makes players love 'im or hate 'im.

Slap - Zevran. Although funny, he is darn near a one-trick pony humor wise. He is a deep character, but there is not much incentive to dig deeper without foreknowledge that such is the case. At least if his attitudes toward murder and sex bother you as they did me.

Scrap - Sten. Another strong and proud warrior type from a culture dissimilar to the player character's. His shtick got old before I let him out of the cage in Lothering.

Buffyverse - Darla, Drusilla, Harmony

Slap Darla - do something to become interesting.

Clap Dru - 'Tis good, pet.

Scrap Harmony - 1 or 2 good laughs, other than that just plain ARGH!



Same - Angel, Riley, Spike

Clap Spike - he was bad ass when he first appeared on the show



Slap Angel - i hated the fact that he kept going back and forth from good to bad and bad to good



Scrap Riley - one of the most pointless characters in the whole Buffy series IMO





Star Wars - Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Lando Calrisien (not sure if thats spelt right, feel free to correct me)

Clap Han Solo - You almost sound like a person, despite the horrible dialogue. No small feat.

Slap Luke - She's your sister!

Scrap Lando - Who? Oh, right, that guy. He was in Star Wars? Wow.



Friends - Phoebe, Rachel, Monica

ouch that a tough one... i'd screw them all so i can't scrap or slap any of them, unless i was slappin their asses... sorry for messin up the game

Clap: Phoebe. Loved the kookiness.

Slap: Monica. The neurosis got slightly annoying over time.

Scrap: Rachel. The whole thing with Ross got boring way too fast.



Star Trek Captains of the 24th Century - Picard, Sisko, Janeway

Clap: Picard. Just the right amount of cerebral but brave for me.

Slap: Janeway. Often came across as just a bit too smug.

Scrap: Sisko. Sorry, never saw nor was interested in DS9.



Back to Buffyverse (sad I missed all that) and Willow SO's: Oz, Tara, Kennedy

Clap: Oz - I loved how laid back Oz was, and his understated humor. His thoughts in the episode Earshot when Buffy read his mind is one of the most memorable gag scenes for me.

Slap: Tara - I really liked Tara, so this is hard. I'm going to have to be lame and divert my slap to the writers that killed her in the same episode when she finally appeared in the show's title intro.

Scrap: Kennedy - I disliked her. She couldn't compare to Tara and I didn't feel she was a good compliment to Willow either. Their whole relationship felt forced to me. Then again, season six and seven were low points for me aside from an episode here and there.

Buffyverse characters that went bad at some point: Faith, Willow, Connor.

Clap Faith: Nice bit of depth, dark side, kick-ass, and at the end some redemption.

Slap Willow: Ok, don't flay me. Evil Willow never was convincing to me.

Scrap Connor: Let's do like the writers and pretend only Angel knows this happened, m'kay.



Looney toons: Marvin the Martian, Wile E. Coyote, Elmer Fudd

Slap Elmer Fudd - Maybe it'll cure his stutter.

Scrap Marvin the Martian - Dude, you're a martian and a damn bunny outsmarts you.

Slap: Smithers - Anyone who toadies to Mr. Burns needs a good slap.

Scrap: Comic Book Guy - Worst. Stereotype. Ever

I couldn't possibly care less about Friends...
and the Simpsons, Star Wars, and Star Trek are not really in my interest zone either.

And I could go to 9 out of 10 people in my family and friends and they couldn't name the people on Friends.  It's who you associate with that often shapes what you are exposed to.

Now, did you have something constructive to say?  Because if you want to bash Smallville, how about your own thread, ok?

I don't need to the spam of "I'd sleep with those girls so I won't vote" or "I hate that show so I won't vote", alright?

But to keep things rolling -

Clap Spider-Man 2 for getting it just about perfect.
Slap Spider-Man 1 for having overly-long romantic speeches and being too fluffy
Scarp Spider-Man 3 for having Venom shoe-horned into a movie damaged by a misrepresented Gwen Stacy.
