I honestly enjoyed it, considering Hardy is the ONLY one on screen and the story is told through a series of phone conversations. I found it intriguing and Hardy was never a bore to watch in this almost chamber play-eque drama. I say give it a shot, if nothing else to be a testament at how talented Hardy is.

Pretty good movie overall, but definitely not as good as the first imho. Lots of great action scenes and characters, including the Vision, who is one of the most interesting characters in the entire film. Overall though, the movie is basically a giant set up for future movies in the MCU, so if you want to get a taste of what's to come before films like Civil War and Ragnarok come out, then look no further than Age of Ultron.

Seriously though, Pretty cool poster.
Better than the official.

Avengers 2, it was okay, but I was still a little disappointed how it had more or less the same plot as Resident Evil 5.

Well, I haven't seen it yet. So, I can't judge it. Though i doubt it would be as plot-less as the reviews claim.

This is probably getting repetitive at this point, but I just saw Age of Ultron this past weekend; I liked it but not as much as either Guardians of the Galaxy or the original Avengers. I found this film to be very poorly edited; the way Scarlet Witch suddenly appears next to various characters in one sequence, the way Bruce Banner suddenly show up in Ultron's fortress, it all just smacks of some lazy editing to me. Equally strange was Whedon's decision to employ more of a cinéma vérité style, with handheld camera and some color desaturation. This style is exactly not suited to a mostly upbeat comic book movie like the Avengers, and makes certain sequences just feel 'off.' Still, Joss' witty dialogue and humor is still there; it's worth seeing, just not quite up to the level of what came before.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Hadn't seen it in eons, still quite good
Angelina Jolie in peak form (even with a padded bra) and Daniel Craig (pre "what the f*** happened to his face) both likeable and hissable as a more mercenary counterpart to Lara
Cool set pieces (The Brahma Statue is quite well done, and the Solar System diorama looks like something straight out of the games)
is it great..no
is it grand cheesy fun, hell yes

I thought the formula was a bit too obvious and cliche personally
Bad guy appears. Bad guy kicks the good guys asses, good guys have a bunch of drama between them and split up, stuff happens, good guys come back together and [STHPOILER] beat bad guy with TEAMWORK *rolls eyes*
The Vision was pretty cool IMO.
Still not sure why Twitter was up in arms against Joss Whedon. Tbh don't really care.

I thought the color desaturation and stuff was fitting really, aren't the movies moving towards a darker more serious place now? I kinda thought Winter Soldier and Dark World signaled that shift.

I'm very interested in this one myself tbh. I'm a huge sucker for a decent sci-fi in general though

What the hell was that?
My favorite ruthless amoral loner survivalist wondering the post apocalyptic desert landscape has been replaced by some savage feral muttering nutter, tormented by his epic failure in part 1 to protect his wife, child, and apparently any plant life. How did this happen? Who knows? The movie isn't a direct sequel, and is supposedly not a reboot, so there's no direct character development from the previous films, which is a bit of a bummer. The whole tormented-by-dead-family trait is new - maybe the desert heat got to him after he was left out there to wander after Thunderdome.
What's with this plot? I thought it was supposed to be feminist. Instead, its about one super hot badass, Furiosa, who liberates 5 super hot concubines from a disgusting tumor ridden bad guy and his tumor ridden minions. This begs the question: don't non-waifey looking women, or half starved peasants, deserve freedom too?
Well, anyway, the movie is a complete hoot. Seen it twice. Lots of fun, and, like Interstellar, looks more realistic because of the practical effects and reduced CGI. I kind of wish the soundtrack was less conventional, like that trailer from Comicon, but oh well.

It's on Netflix. Has Hugo Weaving in it. If you ever thought about smuggling drugs for some quick cash, watch this movie before you do.

In the theater, Avengers: TAoU. A bit of a disappointment, to be honest. With the amount of action scenes it had, I was pretty surprised that my primary emotion was boredom. Oh well. At least I got the ticket for free.
Back home however I finally gave in and watched Mean Girls after many recommendations and much peer pressure... and I ended up loving it. Tina Fey, how could I ever doubt you?
