Watched both, loved both. However, I did like Tomorrowland more than Mad Max. Haters gonna hate, but I don't give a **** come at me BSN.

I thought Master Splinter was a Karate master touched by radioactive junk, then go to sewers and then found 4 radio-activated Turtles ...
Does this movie change this important plot?
in a word yes.
Chappie
Mad Max 3 (I had forgotten how bad this movie is).

That's the 1980s and 2012 cartoon versions.
The comics, the original movies, and the 2003 series was that he was the Pet of a master of ninjutsu and learned martial arts from watching his owner train. It's dumb sure. But TMNT started as satire of Frank Miller.

Apparently concieved as an "homage" to Daredevil,X-Men,Ronin and Cerberus (the Dave Sim comic of course)
I find it very hard to rate Quentin Tarantino movies even if they are very old. The first time I saw this was in 2002 and it was old then, but you could not tell by watching it and I could not tell the other day when we watched it. So I have created a Tarantino scale to measure his movies by. 1 if I just can't endure, and 2 if I can, and 3 if I would watch it again. I give this a 3 because I did watch it again, although there were a few scenes I had to turn away from.
Ok, my personal QT films review:
True Romance (script by QT, directed by Tony Scott) - 4
Reservoir Dogs - 4
Pulp Fiction - 3
Jackie Brown - 2.5
Kill Bill - 4
Death Proof(Grindhouse) - 3
Inglourious Basterds - 1.5
Django Unchained - 2

I've seen this film a few times before. And I don't know why I feel the need to re watch it, and yet somehow I do. I've always found it an intriguing look into the recordings of one man's life in the wild. It's frank and sobering, and criticizes the life and "work" of Timothy Treadwell. I do believe he most likely had a somewhat fanciful and slightly exaggerated view of what he was doing. He had his problems and his quirks. Certainly it could be argued that he was emotionally and mentally ailed. Overtly sentimental, narcissistic, and somewhat paranoid. I can't help but also see a man so driven and passionate about what he was doing. It's inspiring on a level, but the film does a good job of tearing down the sentimental idea of Timothy's: that humans (as they currently are) and animals can live equally side by side. Even with it's criticisms on Treadwell it leaves enough for one to make their own opinion on the matter.
In the end I always leave somewhat thought provoked in what I consider ultimately to be, one man's journey to find a place in an otherwise alienating world. I'm still just as mixed as I was the first time I watched it. But I feel it's safe to say it's a rich enough film to keep me picking at it for a long while.
^ Oh Yeah

Yep.
I'd post a clip from Turtles Forever when the Comic turtles are narrating to themselves.
But I can't find it ![]()
^ Oh Yeah
Spoiler
In the real life event yes.
What a crock
tbf if it was the actual footage it would be a snuff film by technicality.
Who is, Treadwell or Herzog? If Herzog I don't know about you, but I'm not fond of listening to someone's last agonizing seconds. What a crock
this will be the next 80s TV show movie:

Are these from 5 stars?
You imply only three of them are good?

I'm waiting on that Full House psychological thriller about Dan Tanners grief over his wifes death leading to cleaning based insanity.

I've seen this once before a long time ago. Still just as ****** befuddled as I was the first time I watched it. Thanks David Lynch :]

Not gonna lie, it turned me on.
The minimalist score (lots of Phillip Glass) complimented the subject so well. And the scene where the omakase was described as a concerto was pretty magical for me. In addition the the Glass soundtrack, the cinematography - sometimes in slow motion, sometimes in time-elapse - reminded me of Koyaanisqatsi in terms of how it tried to display the timing and importance of the day to day at Jiro's restaurant. I found the film mesmerizing.
Jiro Dreams of Sushi is one of my favorite docs.
Dat Silver Bear Prize!

Watchable YA film. The direction gets a bit cheesy in parts but it's fun watching Sam L Jackson being less badass than he usually is (I have to put Long Kiss Goodnight in the DVD again sometime).
