My favorite comic book movie, along with Guardians of the Galaxy, and easily the most faithful adaptation of any comic book story, ever. I always watch it at least once a year. Probably my favorite Zack Snyder film (which isn't saying much, seeing that the rest of his recent filmography has been pretty **** thus far).

By far one of my favorite comic book movies ever as well. I put it up there with Dark Knight in terms of quality IMO.

Cause, I still think its a great movie, and no its not because of the powers or the silly special effects/camera tricks or whatever. I just like that a super being could be more than just some perfect example of chivalry, and justice. Hancock was awesome because he was flawed, even his pre-amnesia self seems to imply that he had a sort of hero complex that isn't necessarily good or bad, especially when you consider it got his mate hurt almost every time. I also liked it because it was resolved without the hero taking back his mate since it would have meant starting the vicious cycle all over again. I like this movie a lot, though I admit some of the cheesy scenes made me pause the movie and take a breather, "Don't call me crazy..." (Did they really have to give her a similar quirk as him?) and the Chief's loud yelling at Hancock before he cleaned up and during the hostage situation reminded me of those 90s cop movies where the Chief is always yelling at his out of control veteran does a good job but doesn't play by the rules cop(s).

Still love this film though, I here there might be a sequel with Jaden Smith taking over the main character's role. I think they should have used Willow Smith cause she looks like a clone of her dad. heh heh.

The reason X-Men should be neutralized.

Also Superman ftw!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

The gang's all back, a year older and (presumably) wiser

When a mysterious "house elf" named Dobby tries to stop Harry from going back to Hogwarts it doesn't take long for Harry to get a pretty good idea as to why

More quidditch, another Malfoy (Draco's father Lucius) and more Weasleys

The story, about a mystery monster turning students (and Nearly Headless Nick) to stone is really well done

aside from a TV movie and a voice role this was the late Richard Harris' last film

special Kudos to Kenneth Branagh as the charming but inept Gilderoy Lockhart

This is probably one of my all-time favorites as well. It's such a gorgeously done movie and easily one of the most memorable to me.

My original clip was an 8 second comedy video and by posting this video Ive come to challenge his or her deeply held belief that film has to have a long run time. What better way to prove this person wrong and put them in their place by showing you all a bunch of stitched together 5 second videos that in their own right have depth despite their shortness of 5 seconds.

Ethan Hawke, January Jones, Zoë Kravitz, great actors and lots of eye candy in a story that makes me cry over our realities. 8/10

Sunshine Cleaning

Amy Adams, Emily Blunt and Alan Arkin; no lack of talent in this small light production. Single mom trying to make it. A couple of grins and a couple of tears, 7/10

Watched A Night of Total Terror, by.... a very young James Rolfe/AVGN. interesting to see a film connoisseur in his adolescence try to build a horror movie with very sparse resources. Reminds me of the days my brother, sister, and I would make our own of a comedic nature.

Jurassic Wold. Kind of a bland movie, to be honest. Better than JP3 though.

And I finished Agents of SHIELD season 1.

It's the kinf of movie with who I have a hate/Love relationship. It's so depressing. Another one is the movie ''the road'' or the  movie Funny games.

The Road with Viggo Mortensen? My friend told me that it was great, I've been meaning to see it but just haven't gotten around to it.

I have not watched an Al Pacino movie for the movie in a long time. There are actors that are just plain 10/10 for everything they do and Al is one of those that I will forgive the story to see the acting. Holly Hunter and Chris Messina do admirable supporting. Story 6/10

From the trailers, I pretty much knew what this would be about: teenage geek in the hood stays out of trouble, but through ridiculous plot twists is forced to confront his environment as he tries to escape to college. Hijinks ensue! The film delivers. Its hilarious setup does mellow into somewhat predictable drama near the end (and then it just get unbelievably preachy), but it is an awful lot of fun wandering how this likeable kid and his buddies will survive one increasingly absurd predicament after another, while hoping the movie doesn't take a serious turn into tragedy, as it endlessly threatens to do.

Thumbs up.

I've heard great things about this one.

I have to say, I appreciate the batch of more symbolic horror films being released lately. 2014 had Occulus and The Babadook, which are metaphors for mental illness and grief/depression, respectively, whereas (according to what I've heard, I've not seen the film itself) It Follows focuses heavily on sexual trauma and sexual insecurity.
