Rise of the planet of Apes
Dumb title, great movie. It felt one of those precious few movies that succeeds in everything it wanted to do.
I mistook Gary Oldman to David Bowie:(

Just finished Fargo
Holy exaggeration of Minnesotan accents. I have never heard anything that bad.

-Will DEFINITELY not please everyone, but you may be the one the skin fits.
It'll either be a masterpiece to you or utter trash.

This. Took the family to see it yesterday in 3d IMAX at Downtown Disney. It rocked.

I assume Wires meant Dawn. Oldman wasn't in Rise which, coincidentally, the wife and I just finished watching. Both movies are very, very good.

Oops, I read too quickly, it was Dawn of the Planet of the Apes that I saw last, in the theaters actually. But it's true, both are great movies ![]()

I streamed a B movie from Netflix last night called, "The Numbers Station". Pretty good for a low budget suspense spy movie. John Cusack played the lead and he does do dark and creepy really well.
I had started another Netflix offering earlier called, "Cockneys Vs. Zombies" but I couldn't stand watching more than about 10 minutes of it.

Pulp Fiction. I'm just incredibly late to the party. 1994 isn't the last time that I watched a film. ![]()
Hope to see Guardians of the Galaxy in the coming weeks!

Finally got around to watching the The Expendables. Entertaining flick with a lot of good action sequences. Well worth the few bucks I paid for the Blu-ray.
