Ye Guardians of Ye Olde Galaxy
Not only the best Marvel flick so far IMHO, but in many ways what I hoped the Star Wars Prequels would be.
So awesome. Also, people who say it's cheesy or corny need to see more comic-book movies

Saw the role reversal coming a mile away too, but thought it would happen for other reasons.

Justice League: War (2014)
Very good animated superhero movie. I like how DC put all these superheroes together in this movie. I finally watched Wonderwoman and Flash in action. Cyborg and Shazam were also interesting. The interaction between Superman, Batman and Green Lantern guy was cool. But the villains weren't particularly original. 8/10

7-8/10.
I'd never jump up and down at the mention of it, or even strongly suggest it to others, but it was enjoyable and got 'its job done' without being too dumb or too convoluted.

I missed these movies during their original theatrical run, and after years of being incredulously asked, "What?! You haven't seen the Lord of the Rings movies?! This crime must not be tolerated!!!!", I finally got to the business of watching them all. I liked them well enough, but didn't really love any of them. Mostly, I found myself thinking "I guess this is what people who didn't grow up with Star Wars feel when they watch those movies." There's a limit to the amount of epic CGI battles I can deal with (some of the effects have dated a bit, it must be admitted), and something about most of the characters seems a bit, um, stiff, I guess? Hope I didn't poop all over anyone's childhood memories, and like I said, they're not bad movies by any stretch, but I just wasn't blown away by any of them.

Nah, you'd have to redo all the special effects and while you're at it change the scenes around to fit "your vision" and re-release them as "special editions" to do that.
