Rush is great. And amazing for a true story. Beautiful too.
What was the last film you watched?

and yea Winter Soldier had some of the best fights I've seen. Slightly flashy, without overly offending physics, and really visceral and natural looking. Even the laugh out loud super flying kicks looked believable. The action and the Sad Peggy scene were the only real highlights for me, but boy were they good.
I actually like to offend physics. That's why I love Thor 2! lol

Ok, some thing have been said by me here that I didn't think through well enough, and I finally just want to say everything I really want to say.
I don't hate Nolans Batman films. I find them overrated and I like Mask of the Phantasm more, but I don't hate them. In fact, I love them.
So here's my statement. Take it as you will.
Anyway, I hope this put any bad blood towards me to rest.
My thoughts were a little disjointed (It's nearly 2 AM for me as I'm typing this). But I hope people understand what I'm trying to say.

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at the 2005 Box Office
was it the story itself or this adaptation that you dislike? Because it was cool punishing all those brats in a non-creepy way!

I loved the first film, despite its deviations from the source material. I felt it had a great tone and was a solid movie in and of itself. This on the other hand was terrible. I was so disappointed.

I like the first movie more. This is a very fun movie to watch (Action + Espionage + high-tech + good characters). Plot is mostly borrowed from the previous movie and the story lacks somethings. The best thing about this movie is its action-y moments, both super-tech and martial arts moments. 7.75/10

I think he should play another pirate movie, what suits him the best!

Well, it IS a film from the 80's O.o I thought it was all really well done tbh! (Although the movie as a whole wasn't my cup of tea)

I was bored.
So I watched the first film adaptation of Mary Shellys Frankenstein.
Produced by Edison Studios in 1910.
Huzzah for 104 year old Silent movies...I guess.

@TheClonesLegacy:
I get where you're coming from on the Nolan Batman movies; The Dark Knight was the only one I liked all that much. You're not the first to criticize Nolan for being a sloppy shooter. He has a habit of using 20 shots to communicate what most directors would be able to communicate in 5-10, and the shaky cam/quick-cutting techniques he uses for fight scenes are pretty irritating.
Incidentally, the last film I saw was Nolan's Insomnia, a remake of a 1997 Norwegian film in which a compromised police officer (Al Pacino) finds himself in the uncomfortable position of making a deal with a killer (Robin Williams) who saw him kill his partner acidentally (or was it?). The film takes place in a remote town in Alaska where they get six months of daylight; as you might expect, our protagonist finds himself unable to sleep.
Overall, it's a pretty decent film but doesn't do as good of a job exploiting its gimmick (setting a noir film in a location of perputual light rather than darkness) as the original. The ending is functional from a story 101 point of view (and compares favorably with the ridiculous anticlimax of the Norwegian film IMHO), but is still pretty on-the-nose and heavy-handed, as are a couple of other things about the film (Will Dormer? Really?). Still, Robin Williams is terrific in the film, and the cat-and-mouse games between him and Pacino are fairly enjoyable.

I half-watched X-Men 3, the one with big battles between Team Magneto, Normal Humans and Wolverine's comrades. It's kinda OK/Good for a Superhero movie about a war. Magneto and his supersoldiers kick ass in this movie (destroying that bridge and stuff). Not much of story in this movie though.
So tell me... what was the biggest let down for you in this movie?
Also I watched 'The Iron Giant'. Very interesting and touching animation.

As someone who ADORES the X-Men movies (I blow through all of them every year) allow me to explain.
Needlessly killed off beloved characters (Cyclops, Professor X, Psylocke ((Yeah she's there. If you squint your eyes)))
They butchered the Phoenix storyline by turning the Phoenix force from a Cosmic being of rebirth, to a split personality (Which is dumb).
Acting isn't the best. FastBall Special wasn't done right. Colossus did nothing in the movie despite being a main X-Man. The Juggernaut...just in general.
Forced love triangle. Nightcrawler wasn't in it for no explained reason. Whatever the hell they did to the Morlocks.
There's some merit to the movie (Kelsey Grammar as Beast, for example). But overall DOFP undoing it was a good thing.
But at least it's not X-Men Origins Wolverine...

It's probably the movie that delivers the best representation in a movie of what I feel Superman stands for. And yes, I'm including all the actual Superman movies in that ranking.
