White House Down, which was about 1/2 as good as Olympus Has Fallen.
What was the last film you watched?

We went to Veronica Mars today. If you enjoyed the TV show, you will likely love the film. If you've never seen the show, you will think it's a good mystery, but you won't get the characters and backstory, so I wouldn't recommend it till you watch the 3 seasons of TV first.

Frozen saw it on Saturday, one of the best Disney animations ever.

This is my first time posting in this thread, so I'll break the rules and post about two recent viewings:
1. Frozen (2013) - Great characters and absolutely fantastic songs. This movie is up there with the movies of the Disney Renaissance as one of Disney's finest. I wish Olaf would have been more than comic relief, because the main characters, Anna and Kristoff, were both really funny as well.
2. Friends with kids - A dramedy about two friends who want a kid, so they decide to make one without having the misery of a romantic relationship. The movie starts of strong, and I really like the secondary characters, but unfortunately it all becomes highly predictable and too focused on the drama.

Try to use another img from another site, it's very picky about which source's you get them from, some like imbd and other site's don't seem to work some times and you just get a box with the image location that you can click on while other times it'll saythat it doesn't allow the image extension or a couple of other things.Total Recall 2012 Why can't I use image extension on this community ?

Ah make sure you put the [] img [/] img if you aren't using the image uploader around it and delete any [url=[/url] if you see the in the edit windows ( had no issues with your link), since those are usually the problems.

This one is from Wikipedia (also it occasionally creates another url infront of it and surrounds it which just happened to me) anyway the movie was decent though not sure if everyone would like it for a number of reasons.

Just watched the Dark Knight Returns animation on Google Play. It's amazing how close they stuck to the graphic novel.

Riddick & Man of Steel this weekend (finally). I enjoyed Riddick thoroughly, but Man of Steel's last half felt like a re-hash of Matrix Revolutions. Also there's a bit of a physics paradox going on when a human can't budge Clark, but Zod can send him flying as if he were human. Both men being equal, it should have looked like a normal fight when their body parts were connecting with each other. Ah well, people like seeing destruction at all costs. ![]()

I love the Evil Dead trilogy too. The first one is probably my favourite though, the atmosphere in that movie is amazing. Funny how the series gradually evolved from horror to horror-comedy to pure comedy.

Kon-Tiki
And adventurer builds a raft and takes a small crew on a 5000 mile trip on the Pacific to prove that it was possible for South-Americans to discover Polynesia in pre-Columbian times. Based on a true story.
The movie is beautifully shot, but suffers a bit from being too episodic. Now they're being harrassed by a whale, now there's a storm, now there are sharks, etc. Still an enjoyable movie though.
