I found this list on the must watch movies of all time and then I realized I haven't watch some of them. I just finished "The Godfather" trilogy while doing some side quests in DA:I.

It's a great movie from the 60's. I am a fan of Don Knotts ![]()
Jurassic Park

Such a brilliant film. Never wondered why people called it a classic until now.
a joke among horror movies

I'm still amazed just how well this movie has aged.
It's been over 20 years and the Dinosaurs still look top-notch as if they were done today.
Same goes for LOTR.

This.
It's only barely more tolerable than the god awful official cut. No amount of editing and reediting can save these movies.
At least the light saber fights were cool.

Indeed. The same can't be said for Jurassic World, I'm afraid...

A huge reason for that is Spielberg was adamant that CGI be used SPARINGLY. Many of the close ups of the DInos were practical effects, i.e. miniatures/props
Meet the Parents!

So did they solve the mystery?!
Willem Dafoe frightens me... ![]()
I didn't just watch this but it's popped into my head today and I recommend it:

The Town

... and
Gone Girl

Gone Girl
I saw Mockingjay Part 1, finally, last Friday with maybe five people in the theater tops. Not my favorite Hunger Games movie, but I knew it wouldn't be. I read the book and it wasn't an exciting read through Act 1 so I knew what to expect. I liked it for the most part though.
But my mother who went with me didn't really like it at all. She disliked the movie as boring in general, didn't like the direction the movies are going in she said, had no interest in seeing Part 2, and really ragged on Peeta as Katniss' choice in love interest. I mean, Gale is handsome, tall, so very male, and down with the rebellion, if a little over-zealous. What's up? Is it even a choice?
So I spoiled her on Acts 2 and 3 in the book. At least she wants to see Part 2 now! lol.
I really hate that they split the movie into two parts. It doesn't work very well for this book because of plot and pacing. All of the great stuff in the book happens in Acts 2 and 3, and Act 1 didn't translate as well as I'd hoped to film. Being in Katniss' head really helps the book and not being in there hurts the movie IMO.
Part 2 better kick ass now. My expectations are high since I have to pay again to see the proper end of the series. And Act 3 in the Capitol is what I had a difficult time imagining in my head (the pods in the streets, etc.), and it went by so quick, its what I want to see most on screen. I hope the movie does Act 3 better than the book, even changes one thing in particular about Finnick.
Suppose I'll see next year.
The Interview..... Oh wait... Hahahaha. I can't. No one can. Ha.

Keyboard Warriors from a Broke A$$ Asian Country: 1

It's been about 6 years since I've last watched this movie. Great film but damn is that **** intense. Director's Cut is the way to go though.

Not much action in the way of buildings exploding and stuff.
But lots of human interest stories. I liked it.
Bit different from the big budget movies I normally watch.
Next up: The Equalizer.
What's that Hot-Torrent mark under the DVD?
Spoiler
That's just nasty. ![]()
Predestination. It was.. iiiiinteresting.. ![]()
