That's because the film itself wasn't the point...

Just rewatched this Marvel classic, A brilliant addition to the MCU. Loki is a very notable character, Probably one of my favorites.

I'm most likely watching Iron Man 2 tomorrow or the day after, And will also watch Captain America: The First Avenger on Friday.

You know, I didn't notice it was THAT good when i first saw it. But that was a long time ago before i got really invested in the MCU.

Next stop: Captain America: The First Avenger as the marvel geekery month continues.

Well, Believe it or not, About a year ago, I wasn't even half as interested in the MCU as I'm now. :D It's mainly because the marvel comics has some stupid concepts like the cosmic entities, And given that Marvel's phase 1 wasn't very notable because i didn't get what they were trying to do back then, I wasn't a much big fan of it. But after the Winter Soldier, Things changed radically because i started to understand the big picture. I still have concerns about how they're going to pull off the infinity stones, Thanos, Captain Marvel,  Guardians 2 and Doctor Strange. Basically, The core movies of phase 3 and the most defining of the infinity war. However, Now that the Ruso bros are semi-confirmed to be the directors of the infinity war, That concern is fading away. It'll always be there until i make sure that this approach will be different from the comics, But it's slowly shrinking.

Five armies. I shall forever wonder about the Dwarf Elf half breed that will never be. Would they be tall dwarves like humans? Or perhaps short elves. The world will never know.

You know I saw this today just because I had left it on the channel after another film. It has TOTAL cheese factor but I really enjoyed it. Great cinematography, great fight scenes and BEAUTIFUL actresses as sexy assassins and some serious lesbian sub-text. Goodness gracious!

It's been about 3 or 4 years since i last saw that movie. It feels like I'm watching it for the first time. Lots of new Marvel info that would help me speculate about their future plans. Of course the Nick Fury scene was too memorable to forget. And I also remembered the main key plot points.

Next Stop: The Incredible Hulk. Watching it for the first time believe it or not.

The Incredible Hulk is one of my fav MCU films. If you are older you get a lot more of the easter eggs and humour as well. Very underrated in IMO.

Lucy. This is NOT Black Widow: the Movie; it's a lot lighter on the action than expected. There's still a good bit of explosions and butt-kicking, but the majority of film is about following the journey of some random douche's girlfriend stumbling into things way over her head, then basically effectively transforming into a God.

Cringe-inducing pseudo-scientific cliché aside (humans DO NOT use only 10% of their brains!), the visual effects are nice, and Scarlett Johansson did a good job of portraying a character steadily being overloaded with power and knowledge while losing her humanity at the same time, and I finished the movie strangely satisfied.

This is why I cannot be bothered to see this flick. People are ignorant enough as it is, we don't need to exacerbate the problem

It was good, But the hulk isn't generally a favorite of mine. After the events of the avenger, It shows that The Hulk isn't really in control of his transformation. Which requires marvel to do a sequel for this movie. However, Now that their entire slate for Phase 3 has been announced and it doesn't include a hulk sequel, I think his character development will be a strong factor in Age of Ultron as Joss Whedon said. They even considered bringing back the Abomination for Age of Ultron. It's clear that the hulk will be a strong factor in age of Ultron.

The film perfectly portrays the militarization society is suffering from right now. Also, I've always agreed with Stark that a suit of armor is a much more reliable alternative to super-soldiers.

P.S: Mark Ruffalo is a MUCH, MUCH better hulk than Edward Norton.

Why not both? Imagine if Tony Stark was a super soldier. OK, bad example, he'd probably just be a bigger ass. Imagine how much more badass Steve Rogers would be if he could fly and shoot beams of energy. Now that I think about it, Iron Patriot was mis-executed. I could see that shield strapped to the back of that RWB armour.

As a big supporter of Stark, you shouldn't say that to my face. :D

Seriously though, No, I can't imagine Rogers in suit. He wouldn't fit well and he wouldn't know how to perfectly use the technology and improvise. Same case with Iron Patriot. Military thinking is always strict for some reason, That's why they don't fit well with technology. And as you can see, I'm not a big fan of him personally. I'm more of a Stark/Fury kinda of guy.

You do know that both Tony and Steve Rogers are assholes, right?
