If you wanat to see a good vampire movie, watch What We Do In The Shadows

Oh wow, I hadn't heard of this.  I think Jemaine Clement is hilarious (Gentleman Broncos is maybe the funniest movie ever made), so I'll be sure to check this out.  Thanks!

Vampire movie recommendation:

Let the Right One In.

It's Swedish, but worth reading the subtitles.

And the last move I watched to fulfill the intended purpose of the thread...

Yeah the American version of Let The Right One In just pales in comparison. I don't know why they do that.

For a better than average Vamp film, I enjoyed Fright Night (the original) quite a bit; also Frank Lagella's Dracula is better than most, esp with Sir Lawrence as Van Helsing.

What did you think of the 3rd act??

Mixed feelings about the third act. The "shockers" like the cannibalism reveal and the child-slavery in the front of the train didn't really have the affect it should have, at that point of the movie I didn't really care. Even though Korean guy and his daughter were my favorite characters, I think it would have been smarter for them to have stayed in the train. Who cares if it's ten degrees warmer outside if it's still freezing, and where the hell are they even going to get wood to make a fire? I didn't see any trees.

Finally finished Sergio Leone's western quadrilogy (Fistful of $, For A Few $ More, Good Badn and the Ugly, and Uonce Upon A Time In The West). Have to say that the last two are certiantly my favorites. Im not usually a fan of westerns, but those two are the definition of an epic

Great movie! I had a lot of fun watching this one in the theater today. If you're a fan of old spy movies where there's gadgets galore and grandiose spectacle, then definitely go see this one.....you won't regret it.  :D

I want to see this.

Does the bad guy do the over long monologue of his plans to the good guy?

If he does I'm in. I used to love all the old Bond villains when they did that.

Been watching some freebies off YouTube:

Saw Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. Neat movie that combines 2D Art that looks a bit like The Prince of Egypt, and 3D rendered stuff. Big fan of Eris, for as little screen time as she gets.

Finally got around to checking out The Secret of NIMH. Outside of Dom DeLuise making Jeremy's character far more annoying, the movie itself is still a diamond in the rough after 30 years.

Until it warms up outside, going to the movie rental place ain't an option.
