RHPS - walked after 10 minutes; much prefer In Search of the Holy Grail and The Little Shop of Horrors.

Quite good, better than expected. Though this image is completely misleading.

A great movie that many people will never see.

OMG I love this movie.               7/10

Also watched DREDD last night  a good 6.5/10

Lena Heady though can't act. She was miscast.

Fun little film.

Interstellar - 8/10: Great Sci-Fi, above average dramatic and romantic themes, and possibly the worst robotic Tinker Toy mechanisms in film history. But gotta love that water wave animation.

I've said it before & I'll say it again: Seven Samurai is a masterpiece. It has influenced 75% of modern action/drama films either directly or indirectly and is my top samurai flick hands down.

Run Lola Run

The Machine -  Not to be confused with the movie Ex Machina which is a remake done I think this year.

7/10

The Pirates Of Silicon Valley

7/10

I am not normally a fan of biopics or such but this was good. It wasn't great but it was an interesting story of the battles between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs of Apple in the early days of microcomputers.

Silvester Stallone is the 3rd most badass actor after Arnold Schwarzeneggerr and Chuck Norris.

I remember watching a lot of the films that came out this year in a binge-watching haze and I think the last one I saw was Selma.

Selma_poster.jpg

Much as I liked Dr. King in this movie (played by David Oyelowo), you know who else I liked? Lyndon B. Johnson. Seriously, that guy had some of the best dialogue in the movie and he just laid the smackdown on George Wallace. Definitely the unsung hero of the movie.

I just hope that nobody sees this film as that movie that has Oprah in it and is too preachy. It was overall pretty well-done. I'd give it an 8/10. I think 2014 overall was a pretty good year for movies. Better than most years anyway.
