Yesterday I watched Calvary by John Michael McDonagh. An excellent and very deep drama. Definitely not an easy watch, but if you get over the fact that it's not about an interesting plot, intricate twists, spectacular action or l'art pour l'art artsyness but about human beings, the nature of sin and forgiveness you'll love it. Also prepare yourselves for some pretty dark Irish humour. Oh, and Brendan Gleeson is a genious.
