Why do they have to release the game 8 DAYS before it hits the stores.

its not so much pirates but just stores accidently putting up the game due humanily error when stocking video games early. it happens to every game , stop qqing plz.

Stores breaking a streetdate has nothing to do with piracy. People have already gotten their PC Collector's Editions.

Its only 8 days before street release, that is late for a high-profile release. In some cases pirates have beaten release date by like 3 months. Pirates are unstoppable. Period.

when i order stuff online either dvd or video game its quite common for it to arrive a day or so before the scheduled release

Yeah, that's common practice for a lot of shipping companies. They'll ship the item a couple of days in advance just to ensure that unexpected transit delays won't cause the customer to receive their purchase late. It's rare for people to complain if their purchase arrives early, but some people raise HELL if their item is even a single day late.
