November? Let me get this out of my system...

No, that's not quite enough.

That's better.

EDIT: I just looked at the OP's source link and now I feel foolish for believing.

November is COD month so I doubt it. I'm thinking October since September is when Destiny is released and only an idiot would compete against that.

@luckycooky I'd love that date to be the release date, that way I'd have it for my birthday (which is the very next day).

Until I see Mike Laidlaw, David Gaider or any of the members of the official DA team state a release date, I'm taking any "release date" information with a grain of salt.  Especially considering the source of this "release date" is from Gamestop.

November is historically packed with plenty of other releases. It's only "COD Month" because that's what sells the most; in truth it's just the biggest month in software sales in general. There's always plenty of room for competition, specifically if said competition isn't even an FPS. Call of Duty slaying sales charts (which all signs currently point to potentially not even happening in 2014, however relatively unlikely that is) probably won't thwart a decision on EA's part to release Inquisition; it never stopped, say, Naughty Dog from shipping an Uncharted, Ubisoft from throwing out an Assassin's Creed, Nintendo from unleashing a Mario, etc.

Of course, that said there hasn't been a BioWare holiday release since Origins. That's telling.

In any case, a GameStop placeholder date is nothing to go by, ever. :)

November is also a big Blizzard month: Usually they do Blizzcon, then an expansion comes out.  I agree that it's not a bad assumption, but as Jeff said, never trust Gamestop or Amazon for that matter for release date info.

When the release date is announced, there is going to be a ton of threads that is going to pop up across the BW forums about it.  I'm sure that the DA team is going to be coming onto the forums and the official site to chat with players.  I think they'll be as excited as we are to finally share more about DA:I .   It won't be something you'll have to find via Amazon or Gamestop.
