The crew sitting in Normandy mess hall, Kadian seems to just be staring at his ration bar. Tali, Liara, Garrus, James, etc all share a look of concern. With a concerned look Cortez puts a hand on Kaidan's shoulder as he sits down to eat.

(Dream sequence) Shepard walking through a park on a rainy day, but you can still see there are tears in his eyes. Fade to (non-dream) shot of Kaidan on the Normandy's wing, throwing rocks into the jungle, also raining with tears in his eyes.

Cut to Kaidan in medbay he's looking very pale and weak. Dr Chakwas is there with a frustrated look on her face.
