Have fun ladies and gentlemen
Looks great. I'm kind of surprised that the thing I was most pleased about seeing was the ocean.
Any one else notice the bald elf/dorian(that's his name right?). That more or less confirms him then!
Gotta admit, the game world looks solid. I'm diggin it. If all else fails, at least they're getting the environments done well.
In Dragon Age, that's traditionally where they fail, so I'd call it a good sign.Gotta admit, the game world looks solid. I'm diggin it. If all else fails, at least they're getting the environments done well.
Near the end, right before the dragons shows up, was that the Korcari Wilds? It's foolish I know. It's just where my mind went first. XD I'm gonna be watching this video alot for the next couple days. ![]()

Well lets hope its not a trade off, hahaha
ALSO - Is that voice-over the Inquisitor or someone else?
1:31 minutes in, I SPOT ME AN ELF COMPANION.
Also, I think we can confirm the presence of dragons.
Where do I pre-order!?!?! lol
Looks amazing, BioWare has really stepped up its game since DA2. Can't wait ![]()

Shouldn't you be telling us that?

Dorian might've been a placeholder, but it's a cool name if they end up going with it (for the Wilde reference if nothing else).
But yeah, I think we can say that bald elf mage is a companion.

"The world’s population is based on an emergent system that adjusts what you’ll encounter based on how your actions tip the balance in the area. You’ll see towns attacked by bandits, deer fleeing from wolves, giant’s feeding on bears, and countless other scenarios." <--- Dragon age needed this for their reactivity. Glad they implemented it.
Dem landscapes. Gorgeous, really. Bravo, Bioware. ![]()

Frostbite is one heck of an engine though.
ALSO - Is that voice-over the Inquisitor or someone else?
I think it's the male human Inquisitor voice that they used in the PAX demo. I'll go back and compare them in a bit.
So, who's gonna roll up to a waterfall in the forests and just sit/stand there all day soaking it all in?
I've done it in real life, may as well do it in-game.
It's been awhile since I've really enjoyed exploring a game. From the looks of it I'll be spending many hours just taking in the environments
SO EXCITED!
Looks awesome. How any of that will work on previous-gen consoles, is what I'm asking!
Totally called the elk.
Giants? I think they mean that huge tusked thing, which I'm convinced is a troll. Gaider confirmed they existed in Thedas, I think."The world’s population is based on an emergent system that adjusts what you’ll encounter based on how your actions tip the balance in the area. The Music is like a hybrid of Dragon age 2 and Dragon age origins in terms of ambience.
I need a release date.

If the music in the trailer is a sample of what we'll listen in the game, I'm ok with that. ![]()
