The orlesian ball could have a few more people running amok, but I love the style, I hope the cities and places like that are alive and vigorous.

This is one of the prettiest things I've seen in a game for ages:

The game just looks so beautiful in the new engine and wow, Bioware you have delivered on the environments! Can't wait for the upcoming character art, I don't know why but ever since I read Asunder I have been dying for Cole to be a companion so any news on him would be great! 
Personally, I'm a bit of two minds when it comes to that. I think, specifically for the Dalish, it should depend on where they are and what they are doing. Members of a Dalish tribe threading around barefoot in their camp, especially the kind of camps like they had in the Brecilian forest, or tracking game in the wilds, that I'm perfectly fine with. I am a bit more leery of city elves doing the same, however.Ex- I don't wanna see elves running around barefoot in all those environments, jeeeesus
I hadn't even noticed the elves are all barefoot in DA2. There are things I just don't notice.
Lol despite there are a few party banters that make reference to it, or if you talk to merril out in the field its usually one of her lines that makes her wish she wore shoes with soles xD

The environments do look spectacular though, I'd be extremely thrilled to see them during my playthroughs
