Multiple kinds. If you get the Deluxe Edition, it comes with the Armoured Mount(horse), the Red Hart Halla, and the Bog Unicorn.

 

So you'll have options.

Indeed. At the moment I plan to play an elf so I'll hopefully take advantage of the halla mount since I've been hoping for it for ages.

hmm..mounts...  or Maybe..My Elf..she will just walk it,       She doesn't need know silly mount  =P

Funnily enough I don't use mounts much in games. I like to walk because I can take in the game world at my own pace that way, nice and slow and easy.

 

But I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't use the halla mount at least a little bit after I asked for it so much. hahaha

 

If mounts can traverse the world at a simple walk(into Mordor) or trot rather than automatically cantering or galloping everywhere, I'm happy

i dont think that this game needs mounts.i think mounts needs only in MMO because of huge worlds or games like skyrim cant wait for this game i preorder standard edition with The Flames of the Inquisition Pack

The game world IS big. Its not open world like Skyrim, but the levels that the game takes place in are large enough to not necessarily require mounts but make them a desirable mode of transportation.

It is incredibly annoying that the music stops any time I click on something I want to investigate further and then restarts when I return to the map. :/

Eeh, the map is feakin huge..To bad it isnt a Open World-game, but my guess is that the world is quite big anyway. Is there some way to sleep during summer and wake up at the realeasedate? I am to excited for this.

5 playable regions as I hear it, each larger than all the areas of DA2 put together (Which doesn't say as much as you'd think considering the reuse of environments, but still big)

I could live with that^^ as long it is frostbite 3, a good story to it, and in some way or another will meet all other companions or protagonists from the other games, or that they at least ties up the story in a pleasant way.

We'll probably meet a few ex-companions(Obviously Varric, Leliana, and Morrigan are confirmed).

They've hinted strongly enough that I'm convinced the Warden & Hawke will be involved by I seriously doubt actually meeting them.
