They've hinted strongly enough that I'm convinced the Warden & Hawke will be involved by I seriously doubt actually meeting them.

does anyone know if there is going to be any use for all that red lirium shards or if we can smash them because that keep/tower could have rooms blocked or maybe we can forge armour and weapons with red lyrium shards?

Think you might want to wait for the game to come out. Also, red lyrium weapons sound like a bad idea given history.

Sooo I'm guessing looking at the banner on the tower (first pic) its one of the 'Red Templar' (I think thats what they were called in the PAX Prime demo, no?) areas. If so, I take it the 'Red' part comes from the red lyrium (is it lyrium? looks like red lyrium)
I'm just wondering if the red templars are going to be Inquisition's bad guy group, Mass Effect 3's Cerberus as it were, bit of a shame if so, only because it would be more interesting to be fighting a group because of their choices, either political or religious etc, not just anther Cerberus "we're evil because the voices in our heads told us so! lets go kick some puppies!"
Red Templars are definitely bad guys. Hopefully the game will make a point not to portray normal Templars as bad guys though.

I'm sure we will have plenty of morally grey, conflicted antagonists. The Red Templar will probably not be that, however.
