Very nice. Color me impressed.

It must have been damn near exemplary then, Tarkin.

;)

Hoping all that environmental beauty doesn't keep us totally restricted to slim passages and pathways though.

So it seems like they are going for a lot more environmental triggers. This video is in engine and there is one scene where that troll thing stepped on the floor and the animals around it fled. I haven't seen that implemented in a dragon age engine before.

There was also a scene from a demo which required the ship to burn and I don't have the citation with me but one was able to burn it with spells in stead of it just being exclusive to some sort of torch.

However, I will take a stab in the dark and say It looks like the emergent system was emulated from Skyrim's dynamic quest system but instead of having quests we have events.

Looks really good though.

It's a bit skyrim isn't it?

Not so keen on emergent systems, personally.

I hope Thedas contains some farmland, as well as pretty wilderness

I'm not even going to try to read into what was shown in the trailer other than to say it's very pretty.  Yay, Frostbyte engine!

Do we know who the narrator is?

I am guessing it is the voice actor for the Inquisitor. The voice sounds a tad familiar, though. Can`t place it.

The name Dorian has always thrown me off because its so close to Durian.

Hopefully he'll smell better.

Dwarven city is Dwaven. Now's just hoping that it's Kal-Sharok. :D

I take it the big lumbering monster is DA's version of a troll.

Oh my God I just realized the comedic value of an open forum held by the Inquisition being invaded by a bunch of trolls

I hope that's the voice for the Inquisitor. If it is, I'm def playing a whatever-race-he-is. Dat voice.

The emergent system could add context to random encounters. I am sceptical but would love to see how it is implemented.

Giants? I think they mean that huge tusked thing, which I'm convinced is a troll. Gaider confirmed they existed in Thedas, I think.

They mention a troll in The Stolen Throne.

The trailer made me want to play an Elder Scrolls game, to be honest. And not Dragon Age, hehe. Right now, anyway. Not when DA:I is out.

Look at that right ear. If that isn't a knife ear, i don't know what is. Oh and he is most certainly bald.

Hmm, I see the ear now, I think he might just be wearing a cap or something though. Oh well.

The real question is, will our mounts be like Elder Scrolls mounts, allowing us to scale 90º angles with ease? :P

I thought it sounded like Gideon Emery though I don't actually think it's him.

The blog post gave one of the following encounters as an example: "giant's feeding on bears". Wait, what?

Sound like M!Hawke with a cold and an accent to me (aka Nicholas Boulton).

I definitely saw some dwarves in strange armor, though it didn't look like they were in a city. I'm guessing its some sort of outpost of Kal Sharok
