In Dragon Age, that's traditionally where they fail, so I'd call it a good sign.
Is that where they fail? Hmmm, maybe in DA2 they did. Badly. I'm more worried about the *bleep*-poor Quality Control that seemed to taint the series. The one thing (pretty much the only thing) I preferred in DA2 was less bugs. What would have been my favourite franchise from the last 5-10 years has been knocked out of the a place in my top three spot for this reason. Not cheesy dialogue. Not re-used maps/environments. Not even, shudder, consolification. Bugs. Including core gameplay bugs there were created in a patch (anyone remember DA:O 1.03?).
I'd had more fun than pain with DA, but with hindsight bugs not even ME3's ending spoiled things more than that some of DA & DA2's problems. Boycotting? Not necessarily. Pre-ordering or buying immediately at release? Definitely not. Lets see what state it's in at release and do some research....
