I think we're a long ways away from Baby being  a racial choice in a Bioware RPG.

I've listened to it half a dozen times, and the more I do, the more it sounds like Teagan's voice actor. I don't know if it is, but it REALLY does sound like him.

Just listened to both to compare. It does sound a bit like Teagan but the Inquisitors voice is deeper I think.

If South Park The Stick of Truth can get away with Jew as a class choice, I think Dragon Age can get away with babies as a race.

So these are just my first impressions, and you are going to see a lot of exclimation points, but here we go.

 

1. Squee!!!!

2. At about the 40 sec. mark is that the fade? 'Cause it looks like the fade to me.

3. At around the 1 min. 15 sec. mark. What the heck is that?!? I'm not sure I want to fight one of those...

4. These are quickly followed by a ball. Yes!!!

5. And I agree with the prevailing belief. Elvish mage is that compainion.

6. Anyone else feel like those fade tears are looking a little like green oblivion gates we have to go into and close? Just me? Okay.

7. Dwaven lands! Please be Kal Sharok!

8. And dragon, 'cause what else would they end on?

 

I'll have to watch it again... and again.

No argument from me about that.  You start as a baby in Fallout 3, so there's already precedent for that.  But I doubt it's high on Bioware's list of things to do.

About 6: it's not just you. Though I hope that if ever get to go inside them, they will be more varied: in Oblivion once you saw a Gate, you saw them all.

The cold dark room with the dim-red fireplace has Tevinter banners hanging! (The same symbol as on the Venetori cloth)

You're right. Since we're apparently not going to Tevinter itself, I'd bet money on that being Andoral's Reach - an old Tevinter stronghold way up near Orlais' northern border. IIRC Cassandra had a strategic marker placed over the same spot on the map during the original DAI trailer, too.

On the subject of the narrator, it reminded me of a voice in my distant memory of another BioWare trailer:
