Are those Scylla Costa and Andrew Leung in the screencap? Makes me curious for who Isokarpis might be.
I think not having MP tie in anywhere to SP is a missed opportunity. ME3 MP was fine how it interacted post patch, heck even importing a weapon of some such would be nice. Oh well

I wouldn't trust them if MP had a link to SP of any sort. ME3 burned that opportunity for the near future.
That's fair, I just think something a cursory as importing a weapon or....giving you more "agents" or something would be neat and interesting for people who spent some time in MP.
Tying it to endings would have certainly been a wrong decision.
I feel it should be as disjointed as possible. No connection whatsoever. Make it like Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 where the SP and MP were not connected in anyway, and the game doesn't even have MP achievements.
Let MP be there, but don't TRY to get people to play it. MP in ME3 already inspired people who will. They'll likely be back and they might bring their friends. No need to create an unnecessary link to get people to "try it out" anymore.
I like the way they've done it. I think they've said you might recognize/see the MP characters around your camp if you play. That's about as connected as I'd like it to be. Seeing the same characters would give me enough satisfaction, I think.

I'd accept that. But I think they(the MP characters) should just be there in the background in the SP regardless of whether you play the MP or not. Which I imagine is how it would work.
Kinda like how in Assassin's Creed games, in the MPs you play as smaller targets that you had to kill in the SP.

They very well might be. It wasn't clear whether they'd be there regardless and you'd just recognize them if you played MP, or if the MP character would take the place of another generic NPC or something. I think the fact they're giving the MP characters names/personalities of their own lends credence to them being there in SP regardless, and just recognizing them.
I don't think they'll have much of an influence overall - but it'd still be a small gratification to see it.

Would certainly make me believe more in the idea that MP is you playing as them after being sent on a mission by Leliana, Cullen, or Josephine.

Please be aware that what you'll be seeing for Keep right now will -not- be representative of the final product. More to add, #MoreToCome
"whether it is now for Inquisition or perhaps into the future" ?
Hmm.

I dig it. Probably my first character in MP, right there.

She will keep that in mind and be very cross with you if you decide otherwise
