Who knows. There was that Fade looking bit too.
I imagine the Fade will be inevitable but it looks cool
Terrible week to be an impatient gamer. I want all of those to be released last Tuesday.
Me too, I haaaate waiting, it's so painful.
either way.

Didn't really like the water effects early in the video, but the rest of the video is looking pretty damn good.
Hopefully its being worked on. Or has been.

I'm not a big fan of how the Fade has looked in both games. Hoping for something different this time.
That is absolutely beautiful. I particularly liked the weather, the birds and the ballrooom dancing.
I may have to upgrade my computer, though, I can't imagine it will be able to handle graphics like that.
I can't wait to explore the Deep Roads again. Hopefully, it's Kal-Sharok. Really, anywhere outside of Ferelden and the southern Free Marches would be fine.
I am not a big fan of super high graphical capabilities, so honestly seeing how pretty and realistic the locations look does little for me.
That said, I am impressed with what I saw. Frostbite 3 has done Dragon Age well in terms of visuals. The world does look bigger, or at least more varied than Origins and Dragon Age II. Let's see if it translates well in Inquisition.
Are we referring to the swaying hips of what I assume is Cassandra at the 1:30 mark?
Yes. This is absolutely ridiculous. And she's wearing a full armor O__O Poor Cass probably has dislocated hips and severly damaged spine...
Day, night cycle? I didn't see any sign of it.
Poor Cass probably has dislocated hips and severly damaged spine...
Fun fact- Cassandra has scoliosis
At work, they blocked outside websites and only getting two bars
. Looking for hidden gem thread for new video but only found this so far. Really looking for pics until I can see the video latter. Anything major revealed?
Just a video showing off the engine, really. Environment stuff. Precipitation, the sea, forests, leaves swaying, trees moving, some creatures, etc etc
The visuals are really impressive. I hope that they are only different regions of a handful of area's though- three or more completely separate forest area's would be a bit much. Nahashin Marshes, Crestwood and Arbor wilds are fine but start throwing in more forests on top and it might get a bit repetitive regardless of how beautiful it is.
/Plays in 1080P
/Eyes start bleeding from the beauty

lol strutting does not cause dislocation or messed up spines, don't worry. she's fine. however, fighting dragons might.

well, this is definitely dwarven so I'm reaaallllly excited, I won't lie part of me hates the Deep Roads but part of me loves them just because of how gorgeous it always is. I think there could be a good chance of it either being Kal-Sharok or Kal'Hirol

Pfft, I love forests. Give me like seventeen of them, I'm good.
Just listened to both to compare. It does sound a bit like Teagan but the Inquisitors voice is deeper I think.
Teagan's voice actor can go deep. He did Lord Harimann's voice and his was pretty deep.
Fun fact- Cassandra has scoliosis
Well, that would be an interesting plot twist XD It could be a part of her personal story arc ![]()
There was a scene of an Orlesian ball. Please tell me that this is a hint that there will be a masquerade ball mission. Bioware pls...
You get to dress up like a halla and everything
So these are just my first impressions, and you are going to see a lot of exclimation points, but here we go.
1. Squee!!!!
2. At about the 40 sec. mark is that the fade? 'Cause it looks like the fade to me.
3. At around the 1 min. 15 sec. mark. What the heck is that?!? I'm not sure I want to fight one of those...
4. These are quickly followed by a ball. Yes!!!
5. And I agree with the prevailing belief. Elvish mage is that compainion.
6. Anyone else feel like those fade tears are looking a little like green oblivion gates we have to go into and close? Just me? Okay.
7. Dwaven lands! Please be Kal Sharok!
8. And dragon, 'cause what else would they end on?
I'll have to watch it again... and again.
Edit:Spelling
Regarding the bolded, that would be very interesting!
It does seem to resemble some of the concept art we've seen. I wonder if some of the very desolate regions may be Blightlands even (such as around Adamant)?
lol strutting does not cause dislocation or messed up spines, don't worry. she's fine. however, fighting dragons might.
Well, normal strutting doesn't cause any harm. But Cassandra's strutting is definitely exaggerated and ridiculous. It's painful to even look at it.
I think my PC should be more or less fine for this, I mean i know its still to early to say but I can run Battlefield 4 extremely well, and since its the Frostbite engine, its as good as point as any to start
I can't imagine its going to be as taxing as it looks though
I have an 8 core Processor and 16 gigs of Ram. My ATI Card is a 6870 so I will likely be able to run on Medium settings until I get a better videocard.
On the subject of the narrator, it reminded me of a voice in my distant memory of another BioWare trailer:
Game looks amazing.
I think you're right. In this case it would be Nicholas Boulton ... again. Will play FemQuisitor anyway, so I'm fine with it.
Good looking stuff. My favorite shot is of that giant tear in the fade though, there is a sort of creepy foreboding in the way if pulses. It does a good job of conveying a sort of unraveling unnatural decay. Thumbs up to the artist(s).
