I'm enjoyed seeing a few more character creation options. The dwarves and elves are emerging as favorite competitors for my first Inquisitor. And I would have really liked to see the In War, Victory armor; dang it!

Tough to do a non-ridiculously long face-code with a colour wheel like that, I'd think.  You need a limited number of discrete options to do something like that.

Not that difficult to represent really. When you're choosing color in a high end animation program, there's also a number code that's just RGB (red, green, blue) values on a scale. (Just like photoshop, or if  you're converting to CMYB for print). Likewise, there are positional x, y, z values (could be thought of as height, width, depth in a field), just linear numbers, that could represent each physical selection, or since it corresponds to a flat grid, just represent each selection with a single coordinate number. So a code entry might have a letter for type, and a number for position, and you can start to cut down from 60 individual code entries significantly. So it's a long code, but not too unweildy, especially if they're tying them to the keep somehow. It'd be better if we also had an automated share function, for easy upload and download if you want to reuse one or find someone else's you like. They're working on it, I think.

Really hyped to play this game already. I went through DAO and DA2 with multiple characters. Admittedly, I played DAO way more than DA2. Regardless, a 2H warrior was my first main character each game, and will be again for DAI. I can't wait to explore the new Chargen creator and customization options. Great Swords for the win!
