I heard that PC predownload is 17th from Origin, but I can't find the confirmation.

For origins the preload is on the 14th and you can start playing at 10 pm on the 17th.

You can find the info in your Origin client (Game details). For me, being in NL (EU), preload is 17 nov 18:00 and play starts at 20 nov 00:00.

Anyone have any idea what the install size is? I've heard 44 GBs and I choked a little bit, especially because of my egregious internet speed. Blasted Comcast.

At least on my Xbox One it was something around 41gb when I preloaded it.

Hmmm, curious... I thought the PC version is supposed to be 26 GBs, unless I'm mistaken.

Awesome, that's a lot more doable considering the sheer scale of the game. That's even smaller than MGR: Revengeance install size I think...

I suppose that's the case, though I distinctly remember Cameron Lee saying that it should take up around the same space on PS4/XB1 as it does on PC.

Well, there's a big disconnect then. Could be they optimized on PC waaay better than on console. *shrugs*

The thing is when you download a game on a console you have to have double the space for some reason, but after it's full downloaded its the intended size, i don't know the explanation as to why but i do recall that being the case for games like Bayonetta when I originally downloaded it for my PS3 and games like it. You always need to have double the size to ensure there is enough room or something.

you need double the space because it needs the space for the the game dld archive/ whatever you want to call it and then it has to install the game from that ....so you need the extra space

right thats what it is, im assuming thats the situation for 40 to 50 gig requirements for those who will play on console.

I wish the space required was less on console regardless of the reason, hahaha. Unless they want to switch my 500GB HDD with a 2TB HDD. Thank goodness the One accepts external HDDs.

Its because MS and Sony always distribute their software from their stores in english + Full FIGS (French, Italian, German, Spanish) localization. Sometimes Polish and Russian as well, however with diablo 3 that was an optional download.

 

E + FIGS is usually standard though.

I have seen alternative language options as optional dlc before. I wonder why they didn't do that.
