As someone who played it and streamed it live for the community, I say that while I wish it was $5 cheaper, I do think people should play it if they liked Inquisition and want a new small story to experience in it. More of the same with a new flavor, basically. Doesn't try to change anything or spice things up mechanically. Still, was good for what it was aiming to be.

Genlocks still look like the DA2 versions. I actually just see DA2 versions. I miss the Origins darkspawn designs.

No, I think those were ghoul dwarves, you can see DA2 style genlocks in other shots (And shrieks are back!)

Yeah, they definitely didn't go back to DAO designs.

Well that sucks, was hoping they would have reintroduced us to the Origins Genlocks while explaining the discrepancy between the two as the DAII version being heavily mutated or something

 

I don't think there will ever be a return to DAO designs for darkspawn. I believe Bioware has already made its choice in how it will go forward with them aesthetically.
