Doing Garrus's mission I found out that if you use Stasis on the last enemy on the field it will revive any fallen squad mates. This might come in handy when dealing with an enemy that requires a long time to bring down, like a YMIR mech.

^This is news to me. I guess Stasis flags an enemy as removed for the purposes of squad revival. Weird that it doesn't seem to interfere with the scripting of in-mission sequences though.
This is a known exploit (see player notes on Stasis on the ME2 wiki).
The reason for this is that an enemy under stasis is classified as friendly until the effect wears off, so can trigger end of scenario squad revival. This also has the effect of making your weapon point up when in close proximity of an enemy under stasis, which is very annoying to those of us focussing on CQC (although I suppose being able to one-shot a YMIR or scion has to come with some kind of price tag…)
