What I loved most in this entire trailer was this floor.

If I jump into that "fade tear" will I end up on the Citadel?
Let's hope the similarites to that fade beam thing and the Citadel beam stop at their appearance.

Yes, the basalt areas are in fact the same. I'm proposing that it's also the same place as GI screenshot because there are the same basalt structures scattered across both areas and both are beside a sea (or giant lake). The difference might be due to the fact that the GI one is more than half a year older and has a different weather than the trailer, so the textures and colors are different.
(Edit: Also, the picture I provided is a little bit small. In the original one, you can clearly see the basalt structures at the base of the castle thing.
only thing we can be sure of is that those locations are on same coast
or at least on same volcanic system ![]()

I totally thought of this too. There so much in common between the bioware games....
not to get into a heated debate... but...
red templars=indoctrinated cerberus ?

I've thought about this too. With only the info we have now, the similarities are definitely there.
Red lyrium used at templars to make them stronger and ends up making them crazy= Reaper tech used at cerberus soldiers to make them stronger and ends up making them crazy
But I'm sure there's more to it than that. At least I hope so, hahah.

I dunno. They look similar, but it's not close enough for my liking. I think they may be different castles.
yeah... they have similar architecture style, I'll give you that. Also fog... but I don't think that's enough to go by.

What is the cute fox creature, and more importantly, can we eat it?
No but you can make it in to a hat

So is the guy that's narrating the voice for the male Inquisitor and is it just for male humans or does it apply to all races?

I'm not sure it was said for all races, but definitely there is a female voice too.

I hope they use the female inquisitor(s) for future promotional/marketing material though. The only screenshots of the inquisitor, the IG video footage, the demo, and now the trailer all feature the male (human) inquisitor only.

I'm pretty confident we'll get some this time around. Pictures of a female inquisitor in the least.

Well, screenshots or a promo poster (ala fem!Hawke back in DA2) will happen. It's the other things, like trailers and demos, that have yet to happen.

True, but it probably will since they made a femshep trailer for me3. Then again, they had a default face for me3...but still, I'm confident we'll get fem inquisitor goodies! Even in future gameplay vids!

I was thinking, since some people (specially the newer fans) might not know about the fact that this game will allow you to choose your race in addition to your gender, maybe they can make an awesome new trailer which showcases the 8 different possibilities. It'll allow us to hear the different voices as well, specially if they have 2 different voice actors for each race.

If they have different voices for each race/gender or at least have two or three options per race/gender, then they should showcase each one in a different trailer.
That would be hype to the max.
I'm already hyped for the hot male human voice. Give me mooooore.

(Edit: I managed to look away from Bald Elf long enough to notice that Cassandra has a really silly out-of-character running animation (which looks the same as Vivienne's running animation from demo). Hope it doesn't stay, because I'll be very disappointed otherwise. The upside, however is that she has her sword sheathed and buckled against her hip now, rather than her back!!!!!)
In continuation of my trend of quoting myself, I was watching the Digiexpo demo the other day and realized that we can see Cassandra's sword sheathed at her side in there as well (oops...). I think I might roll a lot of sword and shield warriors because of this now, which is a novelty for me considering that I only played dual-wield warriors in DAO, and two-handed warriors in DA2.
Also, she doesn't have that running/walking animation in the demo either. I don't know what's up with that.

Welcome to the club! I always prefer playing front line "tank" archetypes in RPGs. I played a soldier Shock Trooper in ME and a Sword and Board type in DA and DA2 (Although my default Hawke in DA2 was a mage because that made the most sense to me).
My favorite move was Assault in DA2. My god that ability was so satisfying...

Yay! It's so nice here!
I don't know why I never had one back in DAO (other than the fact that I love a dual-wielding warrior tank), but in DA2 I always took Aveline with me, so my Hawkes always ended up being either a mage, or a two-handed warrior.
(Totally off topic, but, I have two canons in Dragon Age universe (and can't decide which one I like best):
1- Male Human Mage, romanced Zevran, had Anora + Alistair on the throne -> Male Mage Hawke, romanced no one, sided with Templars
2- Male Human Noble Warrior (dual-wield), romanced Morrigan, married Anora -> Female Warrior Hawke (two-handed), romanced Sebastian, sided with Mages
I had always played a mage first, but I think I'll start with a warrior this time around. It's so hard to decide though!)

I definitely hope we don't have DA2's female walk animation. I mean it makes sense for Viviene I guess but for others, just, no. It was bad enough in DA2.
