BTW anyone tell me how the quote thing's supposed to work.  Hit the quote button but get nothing...wth am I doing wrong?  Some setting I need to change?

That walk is fine if it fits with your character. But if you're roleplaying as a badass soldier or using Aveline, it's really weird having them run like they're trying to flirt with the companions that walk behind them, hahah

I just hit the quote button and the quoted post appears in the "Reply to this topic" box at the bottom of the page.

Well, screenshots or a promo poster (ala fem!Hawke back in DA2) will happen. It's the other things, like trailers and demos, that have yet to happen.

Sometimes the buttons glitch for me. Pressing it a few times, until the wait animation appears, helps though. Sometimes it seems like I have to click in the reply box first so that the text edit options appear, before hitting the quote button.

 

I use Google Chrome BTW.

 

 

 

 

Personally, I become irritated by it because it isn't at all how I, or any of the women I have ever seen in my life, normally walk. That sort of walk/run makes sense if one is wearing high heels and tight or semi-tight clothing. If you're wearing military boots, or armor, it just looks stupid.

 

What I found annoying was that they went through the trouble of giving femHawke (and the other women) this walk animation while strolling around Kirkwall, but in the cinematics she walked or ran like there was a beach ball between her knees.

Why not go back to how they walked in DAO? I'm pretty sure the walking and running animations are fine for everyone there.
